Weapons & Equip Lucky Magnet

MrD108

Official Terrarian
New accessory focused on attraction. Recipe:

• Treasure Magnet + Celestial Magnet + Gold Ring + Lucky Horseshoe = Lucky Magnet

The effect is very simple, significantly increases the range of lifting everything, increases luck and negates fall damage.

1. (Alternatively, instead of the Lucky Horseshoe, we could use the Obsidian Horseshoe to give this old item a new life.)

2. (I also received some comments about using the Greedy Ring instead of the Gold Ring, because then the Lucky Magnet could be considered an upgrade. I don't rule out this option, although it's not my first choice)

The title is 'Lucy Magnet', might want to fix that because I thought this would involve some cursed upgrade to Lucy the Axe.
Anyway I think the idea of a new Treasure Magnet tinker is interesting (since you find so many of those), but I'd personally make a few changes that I think would possibly fit better.

Celestial Magnet can go since the Treasure Magnet already affects mana stars and Celestial Magnet already has a whopping 3 tinkers anyway. Plus, needing to use two separate Floating Island chest items to craft this would probably be kind of annoying.
I'd replace Gold Ring with Greedy Ring (and have the item inherit its effects), to just make this a flat upgrade to the Greedy Ring. Greedy Ring is already quite nice to have but I think an extra upgrade could work.
Also, just so the luck part doesn't come out of nowhere and just to add an extra touch, I'd add Black Pearl or Pink Pearl to the recipe. Pearls are already really underutilized and it would be nice for them to have more uses.

I find it an interesting idea, I dig it. Though, using the Greedy Ring would be nicer.

add lucy to the recipe and it adds lucy axe lines randomly without needing her in your inventory and also when chopping trees with any axe

Thank you for paying attention.

I used the Gold Ring because I wanted to focus on the purely magnetic aspect (Lucky Horseshoe is part of the recipe because even though it doesn't work like a magnet, it has the identical shape, which is a minor joke), but I wouldn't rule out using the Greedy Ring.

We could just as easily use the Obsidian Horseshoe, which is a dead end in itself at this point, but it still has the same shape as the magnet and adds +0.05 luck. In the process, it would give this old item a new life.
I'll add this to the description as a potential option.

Ah I thought this was added as a thing but I decided it was probably the mandela effect happening, I also just learned that the Greedy Ring gives 0.05 luck as well so this accessory would probably give at least 0.1 luck.

In fact, combining two different luck-increasing accessories is an argument for using the Greedy Ring.
