SUMMARY
Macrocosm is a mod aimed at allowing players to take to the stars upon the defeat of Moon Lord, enabling exploration of the entire solar system.
Each world offering valuable resources, unique challenges, dangerous bosses, and deep lore.
Using the Subworld Library, players can explore far and wide, from the acidic sulfur plains of Venus, to the rusting ruins of Mars, to the methane mire of Titan, to the frozen wastelands of Pluto and beyond.

Currently the Moon is the only celestial body that can be visited, as the mod is very new. In addition the mod's forum page is incomplete and many assets have yet to be created.
Other celestial bodies will be added as development on the mod continues.
After the Moon is complete, the next celestial body to be visited will be Mars.

So quick question what are some surfaces like, especially for the gas giants, could be walk and mine saturns rigs??

We haven't started our work on the gas giants yet. Gas giants are just...gas, that means there is no solid surface, which means you'd probably have to make use of some random asteroids or other elements to allow yourself to to navigate through the violent storms of these planets. For Saturn's rings, that's something I had thought about, but right now it's yet too soon to focus our ideas on late projects. Our current priority is the Moon and we are far from being done for this one.
Work on gas giants like Jupiter, Saturn, Ouranus and Neptune won't start before a good couple of years I believe. But if you want, there is a link to join our Discord on this thread, that's where most of the news about the mod are.

For a start, surprisingly it's not dead! Progress has recently begun accelerating on development of the Moon, as well as adding in enemies and weapons. We have also begun working on a proper way to reach the Moon, and events that happen on the Moon to add a touch of unpredictability.
