Weapons & Equip Make more melee weapons projectile per swing

I don't think this change is necessary. Balancing the damage per second means increasing the frequency of projectiles and decreasing the damage of the projectiles. In this case, it will negatively affect the damage of the projectiles on high difficulties like "master" due to the peculiarity of the mechanics of the effectiveness of defense units: classic 50%, expert (75%), master (100%).

Enemy defense always blocks damage at 50% effectiveness, if an enemy has 50 defense, it will block 25 damage no matter what difficulty the world is set to. Melee also has access to Ichor Flasks and Sharpening Station, making enemy defense very rarely a problem for it.

If you balanced all swords around firing evey swing to give them the same DPS as before (at base melee speed), you would see a very slight decrease in your damage but not only would this be heavily mitigated by Melee's natural armour penetration, the bonus it would now receive from benefitting from melee speed would more than make up for it and the weapon would almost certainly be stronger than it was before.

Think about it:

- copper short-sword??? Way too op probably.
- what about the fetid bhagnags or however you spell it (man, recently i’ve sucked at spelling). Oh wait, it probably would ruin the whole downside: its lack of range,

Those are a couple examples. Instead, i think that more weapons should get reworks and get projectiles, but, not most or all. That i would support.

That is not what this is post is asking for. The suggestion is that every sword that already shoots something should shoot it every single swing.
 
Christmas tree sword is based, but I think I need this for my favorite weapon
The Christmas Tree Sword is actually the reason i thought of this lol
I've been playing with a newer player and while i was playing i realized how sluggish the Christmas Tree Sword felt and how it has lower dps than the Terrablade even though it's way harder to get
 
i would love this on a few specific swords, but for the most part a lot of them don't really need buffs, nor would balancing them be of any real effect, all you're doing is fill the screen with more clutter projectiles... i would however love for this to be in effect with some specific weapons (namely: frostbrand)

it doesn't necessarily have to be one projectile every swing, what matters is it's one projectile every x swings instead of every x seconds. Right now Melee speed is totally irrelevant in late game(would be nice to have solar weapons affected by it too), unironically summoners have more benefit from it than melee

Daybreak gets affected by melee speed, it increases its velocity, making it go farther faster.
 
I would want this on Influx Waver the most to be honest. Give it an aura too while you are at it.


Others? I don't think most of them need this.
