This strategy is in case you want to know more easily if your new world has what you want, still don't know "TEdit", and it's okay to use a little of cheat.
It is common that items like "sandstorm in a bottle" sometimes is not generated in a new world and this item does not have a guaranteed alternate way to obtain it on the same world that this is missing in the current version of the game, using "TEdit" you can open your new world and check if it has items like these or other things.
Useful strategy when you want to play on only one new normal world(without being secret seed) for your new character.
Just generate a text file from this world with the "Analysis" option of "TEdit", open the text file with a text editor and search for the item's name in the entire text with the famous and standard shortcut "Ctrl + F ":
If you want to reduce the "spoiler" of the situation, you can avoid seeing/remembering the location coordinates of the item found, if the item name is found you will already know that it is in the new world, can be done with "platinum ore" too.
