I've been playing Terraria for Nintendo Switch a lot recently, and have learned that with Autosave enabled the game can have lag spikes during saving that make it uncomfortable to play.
My suggestion is that when Autosave is disabled to add the option to manually save without exiting the world, as well as a reminder to save much like what Terraria 3DS has in place.
This way you can turn off Autosave for preformance purposes, but still manually save your game while playing to avoid losing hours of progress because of a Game Crash (rip mythical razorblade typhoon + greedy ring
)
