Hello everybody,
I've recently been having some troubles with FPS drops in the middle of game play. I can't exactly find out what is causing it, it seems random; there can be 1000's of things going on at once, or I can be standing still and it'll happen all the same.
I know it's not my hardware as I am playing on a new custom built PC that has some pretty nice specs. I can play other games like Skyrim on ultra settings while recording with Fraps (Notorious for dropping fps) at 60 FPS no problem.
The only thing I can link it to is having 2 screens running at once. I disable my second screen and it works fine, but that is a major inconvenience. I was hoping maybe someone else had this problem at one point and figured it out..
Here is a list of things I've tried:
Updating my GFX driver
Downgrading my GFX driver
Reinstalling the game
Checking to see if cpu/gpu is over heating (It's not)
Turning off frame skip (Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't)
Changing resolution
Changing quality
And a few more things I forgot.
Any and all help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Euthorix
Update: It seems to be lagging even with the second monitor disabled..
