This is for one of my friends @/LemonLuth on Pixilart, I think it's pretty OK but the hair and clothing I like how I drew that
So this ones kinda cool; I wanted to try to render like this drawing I made for my friend, by making the linear with shading in black and white, then rendering
then I also used a green overlay w red shading (Cuz contrasting colours) uhhh pretty happy with this
Oh yeah This is WildCard, its my close friends @/Klutterk1d (Asters) OC (hey aster if u reading this) uhhh I went through a LOT of phases with this:
I tried making THIS pose but despite how awesome it was I couldn't get it to work, so I ended up w the final
This was a remake of a character design I made in around 2023/4?? He was like an old man spider, he's still pretty old. Pretty happy with this design

Hell yeah, this was for a YouTuber I like, This main rendering style of shading w the watercolour brushes > adjusting with chalk brushes > Messing around with color mode layers is probably the one I like the most at the moment, I already like rendering with both the chalk and watercolour brushes on krita (Look above) but this + the one above drawing are probably the best examples (Oh and Wiz ended up seeing this, Aster sent this to them by request so thank you shoutout aster love u brother)

Mk, I needed to get back into the swing of Pixel art, its a really fun medium but my older Pixelart gallery is mainly just my regular art style, made with Pixilart, so I wanted to branch out a bit, here's some very small examples at the moment:

Okay, so previously I used only Pixilart, and sometimes Krita to make pixel art, but I had Asprite bought on my computer, Ive only used it uhh like ONCE, maybe even twice, it's definitely a me issue but I just kinda.. Can't get into it? Not claiming pixilart is the holy grail (Pixilart's clipping mask and animation system is abysmal) but I've gotten really used to it n working with it, maybe it has more to do that this is a lager image and not REALLY a pixel one like the guide, regardless verdict at the moment: it's alright. I'll probably try it again some other time, I can't really send 10 EUR down the drain

Alright, so if you've followed me for a while you'll probably know about a series idea i've been tinkering with called GEMHOLDER, it's gone through a LOT of changes n rewrites (just looking at the old concept art ive posted here brings me back like wdym this is from 2 years ago??)
Ive written a brief (and really bad) synopsis on my Strawpage, but basically it's a dystopian world, and it mainly follows a few kids (Like the ones in this thread)
Ill give it it's own page eventually, but for now this IS an art thread, so I'll be posting all the art of it here;
So, this drawing was ACTUALLY drawn during a Magma session (Magma is like a site where you can draw on a big canvas w people, it used to be called Aggio (?) back in the draw if anyone remembers that) it's hosted by @/Ccoyo on Pixilart, this was (well the only) session I drew in (Since well it's been put on hold because school) Luca and Ula are here
This is/was a test of all the brushes I tend to use for shading (Marker, Watercolor, chalk)
I like the chalk one best
Oh look it's Ula again (theres gonna be a lot of her here)
Another test w watercolour and posing nothing too interesting here

I made this for 1900 Pixilart followers, also I needed to draw them (they're friends in GH respectively so it felt weird not to draw them that often
and Dolph's design I didn't draw that ATM)
Hell yeah
I made this chart for Robin (yeah) in magma, actually, it felt less overwhelming to use it at the time, I really like how the colours turned out
On Robin I also drew this, mainly 2 rendering techniques at the time I was considering, basically either A starting with a lighter version of the colours and building up with the marker brush, or doing the opposite with the chalk brush
Uhh I dont really like this drawing lol? but I like the rendering on the first one
this was meant to be a family guy meme
also made me realise I should probably make turn arounds for my ocs (this will be relevant)
Ohyeah I drew this today
This was meant as another Pixel art test, I like how I did the cat but the dress is like uhh bad lol
On a better note, here's a ULA work in progress sheet!!
Ula is a pretty relevant character hence this sheet, it's mainly linear ATM + sketch, but it WILL be finished

OK so to get the easy stuff out of the way, I have been working on some catch animations, a lot of them have been in production since the beginning of the year but Ihavent had the time to work on them. One I've been working with a lot is an undertale animation, here's a video preview I posted on 25/10/17, although last time I've updated it was today (Song used is Old enough 2 die by Heart attack man)
Now onto the more complicated stuff:
I've had a scratch alt account I made after my original alt wasn't unblocked (Whole song and dance but during 2023 my new scratch account and alt was blocked for violating scratch terms of service, I sent an appeal and a few months later had my main unblocked, but my alt was still down), Mazarianpartii was made after I got unblocked, I basically used it for teasers and ranting, although recently I wanted to try to work with a more "free" version of my main account, which I would reserve purely for animation stuff. I wanted to make a basic "Website" esq project that would have archive backlog to my work (and if I followed up on this project, then you might've come from there), general geek stuff and redirectors. And the comments on it would be for general discussion.

Well it's because i've been more focused on my own projects (and well uh, school)
In general ive ive wanted to shift more to original bull and archives because it felt like an audience I wanted to cultivate more (for like, stuff I actually make.)
last month, I laid out four original projects I had been working on:

Grmholder, as always is continuing being worked on, I made a LOT of reworks on it this year, including designs and stuff.
Now, how does this tie into Magma? well I mentioned last time I had been trying to use that website for art. In fact a lot of the earlier digital art you saw WAS made in magma! (Not that I'm abandoning krita, I just wanna stretch my art muscles)
my current gemholder goal is to make reference sheets for all the 7 characters, which sounds pretty simple but I'm kind of a moron who dreams a lot more then acts on them (oh and I keep reworking the designs a lot.)

Not sure if ive mentioned it on the forums, I definitely haven't mentioned it in this thread, but theres an oc project I've been conceptualising since like circa 2024? I'll leave a link to a pixilart photo album with most of the art, but I haven't posted about ir since last year.
felt pretty weird, but also fair since it IS on my lower project ends, but I needed to rework the mains characters colours anyway, so here Basil is!

---SCRATCH PROJECTS---
This will probably be a quick one, because despite working on these a bit I wanna still keep them semi secretive (lol), but here they are
I mentioned before that on main I was working on an animation, I still am!! I tend to work by animating one scene, per every chance I have to work on these. No teasers for this one, sorry gang, but the next one is different
So the archive project (or, if we're being honest more like a directory website-larping thing) has been changing a LOT since I initially started working on it.
I uploaded a short video (25/11/23) previewing it, the thing that initially sparked this was seeing a user have project chatroom where users could comment on the project instead of their profile, that spiralled for me out of control into this scratch website thing.
An update on the project as well is the assets, I made modifications on it yesterday, so I might as well ad this in;
on the 22nd, I had uploaded this teaser. What's important here is image 1 because it shows 2 pseudo ads I had made for the site. In the video, I put in placeholders, but on the 30th I finished the sprites and added them to the site (below) (Might as well ad in, the reason as to why these ads took a bit to draw is because they have blurred images from the internet in the background, and magma wouldn't let me upload large image files onto the site, but I ended up just resizing them on my computer and it worked out.

I've made a lot of improvements on the site and it's something I'm not only really happy with, it's also something I genuinely enjoy making? Idk, I definetly would've have guessed that making fake website-design was a thing I enjoy lol

Proof of concept for something, so; Monkey Wrench is a REALLY high quality, underrated indie show on YouTube (Seriously check it out!!) and I wanted to draw fan art, but I hadn't drawn these characters before, so I made these sketch concepts using the official ref sheets. I think theyre pretty alright for an art style I haven't drawn in
