This is peak again but I don’t wanna basically say the same message twice so I’ll just mention that I thought that View attachment 522744 was the blue Smurf cat for a second
Hi everyone! Hope you had a great winter and new year, I have a lot of updates and plans, so I hope you like this post!!
(26/1/1)
Sorry again for the fact that this is posted late, Ive been busy hanging out with my family and these posts take a good minute to write. I can at least put a close on a few things this year and open doors to new ones, this year has been pretty eventful but also to where I cant really recap it at alll? That's why this blog is so useful to me, not just for having a place for archives of all my art (it's original purpose) but also because I can put all my relevant information.
Here we go;
DECEMBER 2025 ART DUMP
Alright
(25/12/01)
I made for the November 2025 art dump image, I wasn't mean't to upload it at first but the forums where down so I did lol
(25/12/08)
Art my buddy Aster
(25/12/15)
Some The Amazing Digital Circus fanart, hope nothing bad happens to them
(25/12/17)
Variations on a Cloud has always been one of my favourite Tally Hall (Well, Miracle Musical) related songs, Ive wanted to draw the variations on a Cloud puppets (from the MV) for a while now so I decided to!
(25/12/19)
I love Quirrel I'll miss him
(25/12/24)
Ralsei-Asgore father son dynamic would be cool
(25/12/31)
Fanart (again) 4 project YBTFC, fun fact abt this drawing this was when I started to draw across 2 drawings services,I originally sketched this idea on Magma, but I liked it enough to do the like art, then color, then shading on Krita. then I decided to put it back on magma to alter the colouring + add some hatching and midtones. Ive been doing this ever since, mainly cuz Krita exports art slightly desaturated and Magma has more layer mode options, but I prefer krita for more "professional" art.
---Personal Projects--- Last time, I mentioned that my digital art section is pretty short compared to last time, it still is, and like last time it's for the same reason, I was working on my own projects! Also I was spending time withy family
The list from last time, as well as an updated version later down the line:
Gemholder
Magma (DONE)
Mazarianpartii archive rework
Scratch projects
---GEMHOLDER---
Gonna be honest, I love Gemholder, but writing this section is starting to drag, mainly cuz I don't HAVE a lot of updates other then the art I make for it, this isn't like an actual video game or comic (>made) you can interact with in it's current form, it's a glorified series concept I really want to make but don't have enough done with it or the experience to make. I do plan on making like a small RPG one or (more likely) COMIC of it, which is relevant here.
To outline the general idea, although GEMHOLDER in its base form IS about Marcaline, I wanna make a prequel more about the other characters before the main events of the story (Mainly Paprika), simultaneously tho I don't want the Gemholder that's about Marcaline to be considered a sequel (Like, no one really calls Lisa: the painful a sequel to Lisa: the first or SIlksong a sequel to Hollow Knight, even tho they are, well maybe the LISA comparison is kinda silly)
I mainly made art this month (which we'll get to) BUT I made concepts for potential comics;
(25/12/28)
This dialogue is G-mans from Half Life, for context.
Ive made more art heading towards the "actual concepts now" direction that ill elaborate in the art segment; here!
(25/12/06)
Doodles of some character stuff
(25/12/06)
Ruth n Hugo with Ruth's vespa (it has 2 seats if you look behind it)
I don't like this
(25/12/07)
I got an ask on my strawpage about Luca and Dolph so I answered in the post, along with a collection of doodles (feel free to send me gh related questions I like them a lot)
(25/12/23)
trying to draw backgrounds again, turns out listening to enough Ørdop Wolkenscheidt will motivate you learn to draw backgrounds on a whole new website
(25/12/25)
Luca and Marcaline (subtle foreshadowing) tried imitating how I draw on paper
(25/12/29)
I forgot to upload this at first whoops lol but ya this is Dolph
BONUS:
(25/12/18)
I liked the lineart a lot but I gave up at the colors lol
Yeah that's it for gemholder ATM, if you got any feedback pleases drop it, other then that thank you for reading this segment!!
--Mazarianpartii archive (website?) rework--
OK so there isn't a lot to unpack about the scratch Maz website;
I haven't worked a lot on the site this last month, mainly cuz I was busy, In the meantime tho, I posted an early version of this site on Scratch, you can check it out here.
I have changed minor stuff here ever since, mainly I replaced Subtext by Graham Kartna into Rustys theme by zKevin, sorry for the lack of updates on the site. I have been working on a different scratch project tho;
--Scratch projects--
As usual i've been working on the Old enough 2 die animation when I can; Wifi just works poorly in the evenings so it can kinda redirect my plans. Current scene im working on is pretty code-complex tho so Ive been tinkering with that lol
In the meanwhile I was working on a way smaller and simpler animatic during mid December, I posted a preview of it on Pixilart (25/12/25) that you can check out, if you're wondering why scratch project have been slow on production, well Scratch has a bug that makes it so if you switch tabs while the site is on, the audio will stop working. Which wasn't a problem that bad in the past, you'd just reload and everything would be fine, but now the ENTIRE SITE stops working if you do this and it won't work for like an hour in my case, I found a work around back in late October where you would go on a different project, reload and the audio would return, but now it just doesn't work at all. Just a pile on the many many site breaking bugs that have been polluting the site for a while which is pretty awesome yk
--Magma--
On a less cynical note, I have a closing chapter on one of the projects, and an opening chapter on a new one!
I mentioned awhile back I stared drawing and learning use a site more frequently (aka Magma), I can finally confirm now thatI have worked on learning how the site works and have incorporated it onto my regular art routine, something I had mentioned in the digital art segment; So this project of learning Magma can be closed off for now and I can move to learning other stuff
--Closing thoughts n shoutouts--
Normally I try to work a lot during vacations but this is also a time when I get to see my once-in-a-blue-moon extended family, so outside of art I didn't work on a lot this month;
Since I'm going back to school I doubt I'll be able to work on these as frequently as I do. I mainly made this to archive my art with dates, but it's become something a lot larger, so please be patient while I continue to work.
Shoutouts
Wanna highlight some things like last time, so let's go!
1. Good & Evil - Tally Hall
Listening to this while walking in the woods is peak, love this record
2. Running away from the Internet, Vol. 1 (OST) - UglyBurger0
UglyBurger0 (dev who made the Roblox game 3008) made an OST for a game called Running away from the internet, I haven't played it a lot but the soundtrack for it is AWESOME!!!
Please check it out!!
Actual conclusion
Happy new years eve, hopefully you've all had a great year.
Thank you for reading!
