Me expert mode experience

So I have been playing expert mode for 81 hours now I have got up to the last mech boss I need to fight the twins. I’ve never got this far legit I remember I’d always get modded items on Xbox and stuff and I never beat the wall of flesh legit. It was really enjoyable playing legit even though I got totally destroyed in early hard mode after mining up new ores it was fun. Also mimics are really kinda broken I have like 17 platinum coins now.

17 platinum? I'm approaching 50 in pre-hardmode! I'd say "get a gem farm" (and yeah, that makes a huge difference), but really, money's coming in all over the place. I just got a plat leaning on QB for the Bee Keeper (took 5 tries, after 4 previous hives), I picked up a couple or few more while prepping the Underworld, cooking a few batches of critters, fishing for crates, etc. Even the Blood moon gives me 25 gold after I pull out a battle potion and water candle.
