so the destroyer spawned randomly at my house and killed me in an instant, will it show up again, or? I watched Terraria for years, now finally playing it.
how can I spawn it as i just entered Hard mode, but want to get the Steampunk npc quickly?

It spawns with a fairly common chance every night, but you can also craft a mechanical worm from iron, souls of night, and rotten chunks (vertebrae if your world has crimson)
