Have to say, ive finally come back to terraria. The new sprites look good. I have to wonder though;

You make it from Hellstone Bars, Obsidian and a bucket of lava. It destroys any item that touches it, even if it has a higher than White rarity.

That's what I started calling the automatic extraction setup, where you have an extractor and an injector connected by pipe and also wire. The injector sends a signal to the extractor when it receives something, which causes another item to be extracted. This continues until there are no more items to extract.

fish and crates
Crates are covered by the "Bag" filter. It's not possible to create a filter specifically for fish, but I guess I could add one for quests items, if that's useful.

Thats pretty cool, and for the fish/crate one it was more to be able to automate the "Simple Autochests" fish gatherer but back to the drawing boards I go for that set up lol
 
So I have a small suggestion for a feature I think would be cool and a good time saver for myself. I don't believe this has been implemented yet (correct me if I'm wrong), but would it be possible to make an outlet or something that automatically opens things like treasure bags, goodie bags, crates, and presents? I figured it would be cool if I could, for example, drop 1000 presents into my magic storage system, hook this device up, and then with a signal have it open presents a stack at a time, either flooding the screen with the items or otherwise putting them into a chest.

Just thought I would ask, as it would make dealing with the large variety of treasure bags I keep getting from bosses a lot more manageable and less time-consuming! :D
I love this mod regardless either way, it saves a ton of management time already as is and has given me a nice auto sorter set up plus auto "clean up the player's inventory" set up. ^^
 
Make a banner filter because i dont want to filter my banner one by one and crab no banner is trash

Nice mod, it functions very well. However, I do have some feedback; The spriting work, to me, doesn't feel "terraria". Have you considered updating the sprites?
 
I'm having one problem with this mod. I set up an auto extractinator and when I try to autocraft a silver coin using 100 copper coins, it says "missing ingredients (Gold coin) so am I doing it wrong or something?

Because it tries to craft a recipe (1x Gold coin -> 100x Silver coin), it can stuck at this if there is not enough silver coins in chest
(or not enough space in chest)
 
MechTransfer is a small mod, that adds various wire controlled devices to interact with items and move them between containers.

The mod contains the following features:
- Transferring items from one chest to another
- Dropping and picking up items
- Item sorting and detection
- Automatic crafting

Latest version: v1.6.2 for TModLoader v0.10.1.5 and Terraria v1.3.5.2

Standard chests from any other mod should also out of the box. If your mod has a custom item storage solution, you can use MechTransfer's Mod.Call() based API to set up an adapter for it. (More information available here.)​
Currently, the containers from Portable Storage support MechTransfer.​
Support for Magic Storage is built into MechTransfer. (see Magic storage interface)​

The back of the arrow acts as a receiver, the front acts as a sender. It receives items, and sends them out again.​

This thing might not work all the time, I am still kinda working on it.​
Some moded crafting station might not work with it, but I can't really fix that, unfortunately...​

The turrets can shoot any standard ammo, including every type of bullet and arrow, even modded ones. They can be rotated like vanilla cannons, by right clicking or via wire. The higher tier turrets do more damage and have a faster cool-down. The Matter projector has no cool-down.​

So, that's basically everything. I'll let you figure out some of the interesting side effects. ;)
This was my first attempt at making a terraria mod, and I very much enjoyed the experience, so it certainly won't be the last. I've already got a few things planned.
Sorry about the crummy sprites, I am not very artistic.

It isn't impossible that I overlooked some major bug, so let me know how it works. It's fairly stable though and probably won't eat your items.

Will there ever be (or is there, I may have just missed it) an item vacuum type item that sucks things into chests, like the Miscellania mod has. Feels like something that should be included in this mod and not need a different mod to be downloaded too. Again, excuse me if it is already in the mod, in that case just tell me.
 
sorry for bothering but i have some issues:
when i try to connect more chests with the same line of pipes only the first in the line gets receives the items, also the items are transfered tick by tick(i mean that it doesn't happen in a continuos way)

You need to Connect Extractor and Injector with the same Wire to get a continueing cycle until all items are transferred.

if you connect multiple Things to the same Pipe you need Relays and/or Item Filters in order to make Items go the Proper way.

to the Left there is my Storage with Extractinators down below.
to the bottom middle there is an additional Accespoint that extracts coin stacks that were already present in the Storage with a Blacklist filter for platinum ( those can't get exchanged for a higher tier unless you play with a mod that adds a coin tier above platinum ;) ).

the Filter + Relay right below the Sign make sure that coins from the extraction Process aswell as coins that were already in the Stash get to the coin Condenser on the Right side ( exchanging the Coins 100:1 copper->silver->gold->platinum.)

the Filter + Relay above the Sign make sure that the Coins aren't goin to travel endlessly in the Condenser aswell as everything that is not a coin drop from the extractinators goes straight to the Storage and not on the Back of the Condenser.

The Extract-Pipes from Each container without a filter right next to them are just to have access to partial non condensable stacks of coins ( for example if there are like 65 copper, 35 silver and 55 gold coins left in the system that top right button lets them get pumped back into the Storage)

@DRKV Any Chance we can get an automated tile that acts like a normally placed Explosive, or an explosive tile that behaves like sand when dropped by the outlet? (for a fully automated Obsidian Farm) it kinda annoys me that there is no way to automatically place explosives that are triggerable by wire. (literally the only thing missing to fully automate an ankh shield crafting Factory from farming to crafting o_O :D

Two small suggestions:
1. An item vacuum type thing (preferably one that is compatible with multiplayer)
2. Some sort of NPC injector/extractor that sells everything that is moving through and extracts the money.

Sorry for bothering you but will this mod be updated for tModLoader 0.11.6.2 because the mod doesn't work, or it may be just that I have a mac. Anyways it isn'y working. I don't have an error message at the moment.
Thanks if you fix it I'd really like to try this mod.
