Resolved Mentions in Signatures

Basically, if I @ someone in my signature, will they be pinged? (I'm asking that because I want to support some suggestions by a user that has lots of suggestions, but don't want to bother them with a ping each time I update my sig, but still provide a link to their work)

They don't have a central hub for their suggestions.
