PS4 Meteor Not Spawning

Hi everyone, I desperately need help with this. I’ve been playing in my main world for a few weeks now, and have done all the bosses and am trying to get the mining unit. I realized that I needed meteorite for it, yet somehow after 2 weeks not a single one spawned. I dismissed it as a simple bug, but two new worlds later I have yet to get a meteorite. And yes, I’m smashing an orb every single night and waiting to see the message. At this point my worlds are running lower and lower on orbs. If you can help it would be much appreciated.
 
Yea, this also happened to me and my friend. Its come to the point where we only have one heart left and no meteors spawned.
 
It s quite normal i think, in our world the meteorite spawned after 50 hours of playing, it s really rare as event.
