After some (solitary ;() consideration, I've made some changes:
  • Topaz Hook now available after 'Jungle becomes restless' (defeat of each mech boss once)
  • Furthermore, the Topaz Hook in Golden Rule is now available after defeating Plantera.
    • (Changed from being available after Goblin Army to make it more in line with original Midas Mode)
  • Win condition changed from beating wave 10 of Pumpkin Moon to obtaining the Picksaw or defeating Golem 3 times, whichever comes first.
EDIT: I want to also include a list of weapons/accessories/gear that made my hotlist, but did not make the final build above. I would like to know whether I should or shouldn't include them above. They are:
  • Cutlass
  • Paladin's Hammer
  • Gatligator
  • Hallowed Key (and Rainbow Gun)
  • Paladin's Shield
  • Yellow Dye (Golden Rule?)
  • Power Glove
  • Lightning Boots
  • Jetpack
  • Topaz Staff
What do you think? Do we really need, say, a Jetpack? Or a Gatligator?

Quick update. Since I'm currently using my iPad, I'll leave out images until I can get to my computer.
  • Added Golden Shower as allowable weapon.
  • Added Topaz Robe as allowable armor.
That's all for now. Please, if you have a suggestion, or want to mention an item that I completely overlooked, by all means do so! :D

Can we use Honey Blocks in tandem with the Honey Dispenser?
If you really wanna gold it up, building and all, honey.
Yeah, why not. It's not like the Honey Dispenser isn't rare anyway, so finding it should be absolutely worth it.
  • Added Honey Blocks and Honey Dispenser (and everything crafted from it) as allowable materials for building. (Even in Golden Rule!)
  • Added Honey Chest as allowable storage in Golden Rule.
Thanks for the contribution! :D

Can you use: the lava charm, diving gear, lava wanders, flying carped, sandstorm in a bottle, yellow horseshoe balloon and power glove?

Can you use: the lava charm, diving gear, lava wanders, flying carped, sandstorm in a bottle, yellow horseshoe balloon and power glove?
Lava Charm, Lava Waders, Diving Gear - Definitely no. They're more a red/orange colour, and it would have to be at least more yellow/golden to even be considered. At least.

Flying Carpet - Ehhhh... maybe. I'll think about it.

Sandstorm in a Bottle/Sandstorm in a Balloon/Yellow Horseshoe Balloon - I was certainly considering them when making my hotlist. Just forgot to add them. My bad.
I do also think they have a good case for being added (because of golden-coloured sand, and sand being an allowable material to use even in Golden Rule), so... what the heck! :D

  • Added Sandstorm in a Bottle/Sandstorm in a Balloon/Yellow Horseshoe Balloon as allowable accessories, with following conditions:
    • Fool's Gold: Available after defeat of Skeletron AND Goblin Army. <---- (Should this be defeat of WoF instead?)
    • Standard: Available after defeat of Wall of Flesh. <---- (Should this be defeat of Mech Bosses instead?)
    • Golden Rule: Available after defeat of each of the Mech Bosses at least once.
EDIT: Changed Golden Rule condition to after defeat of Plantera instead. In compensation, special Golden Rule restriction on Topaz Hook has been removed (now available after defeat of each Mech Boss at least once).

Power Glove - This one's in my hotlist, and I think I has a better case than say, lightning boots, since part of the challenge (speculation on my part, since I didn't create the original idea) is coping with movement difficulty. But this one doesn't have any effect on movement, so... maybe. I'll think about it.
