my first post and suggestion! Here goes nothing!
My suggestion is small beehives that are attached to jungle trees and take up 1 - 2 blocks of space. Mining it summons a small bee or even a hornet. The hive drops honey blocks and hive blocks. If the jungle is hallowed the beehive will turn into a pixie hive that drops pixie dust and summons a pixie instead of a bee, corruption makes a slimer hive that spawns slimers and give vile mushrooms, and finally crimson which makes it a blood hive spawning Herplings giving Vertebrae. I am unable to create models but if anyone has a pixel editor that the terraria team use to create their sprites I would try to make a model. -Wafflebear
