Xbox One Minimap character icon glitch

I just recently started playing on Xbox one from 360 and ive noticed that on the minimap both on screen and world map aren't displaying my player icon correctly. For awhile it displayed parts of what appeared to be the Terraria title, then it was vertical black lines and now it simply appears as a white square. Its not a huge issue but it does make navigating a little harder.
I thought it might have been an issue with my legacy character but it seems to have the same problem with new characters as well.
Has anyone else run into this issue at all?
 
Yes, it's a known issue. It usually happens when you switch player profile, or idle too long at the main menu making the game ask who you are. Hopefully it is fixed in the pending update thats going through certification right now.
 
Lol i had the same problem around that time. I was like "wtf" when I became the logo. It must be a file that was connected to the wrong image
