Somehow, you can get a Shimmer Biome Chest Key in Hardmode. Unlock the Shimmer Biome Chest after killing Plantera, and you get Mister Shimmerpus. It resembles a small shimmer colored octopus toy with a pullstring. It is a magic weapon.

Mister Shimmerpus is the direct upgrade to the Blood Thorn; attacking causes many pink and purple tentacles to rise from the ground to deal damage near the cursor. The damage of Mister Shimmerpus is much higher than the Blood Thorn, and it attacks a lot faster. It even has a high base critical strike chance of 12%.

Cool idea, though this does give two weapons to the magic class. Yeah there are technically two weapons to melee and summon as well, but this still isn’t totally balanced.

ive done a underworld whip Ocean Melee Weapon and Sky Mage weapon Space Ranged weapon So perhaps Mushroom ranged?
