Game Mechanics Mobile Customization

So I have an idea that can help some mobile players, I noticed that when you lag you are not capable of dashing since double tapping registers as one tap, and also it would simply make mobility during boss fights easier, maybe when the new controls customization comes you can add specific one-tap buttons for left and right dashing?

I think that this is a great idea for mobile players, I've never played terraria on mobile but I understand what's happening. Another way they can fix this is to adjust the timing between double taps so when it does lag, it will still register the double-tap. Lastly, they can just reduce the lag on the game to prevent all of this and maybe some other issues all together.
