    Hello Mobile Terrarians!

    Great news for iOS and Android (Google Play) users! We have good amount of fixes (below) going live today - these should make their way to your devices over the next 24h-48h! Thanks so much for your patience and help with identifying many of these bugs/issues!

    Amazon users: We've been working with Amazon to fix a Heap memory issue that was in the game and causing it to crash frequently. Progress has been made here...and we are sending our latest ideas up to them for their reaction. Hang in there - we know it is frustrating, but we are going to get this fixed up...steady progress is happening, though we know you obviously cannot see that.

    Windows Phone users: We have identified the reason for the crashes - or at least the general area. The game is being flagged with STATUS_HEAP_CORRUPTION because the RtlFreeHeap function has detected a problem. The bad news is that - in general - heap corruptions are not easy to debug because the actual cause of the corruption may be long gone by the time that the corruption is detected. We have been and are working directly with engineers at Microsoft to debug the heap corruption - but it is a difficult process.

    This is compounded by some of the changes that take place between the version that goes into certification and the final Retail Release - which is likely why this occurs to you guys and not for anyone in QA or Certification.
    All that said, the good news is that we have our latest attempt to sort these issues ready for Microsoft to check over again. No promises it will work, of course - this has been a really tricky one to solve - but here's hoping this one works!

    • Fix for Discount card not working
    • Fix for Skins produce Iron Pickaxe when removed in the wall.
    • Fix for Beetle armor: Set bonus reads "Minion damage +"
    • Fix for Pre-Hardmode Crimson does not convert grass or trees to spread. Crimson will only spread on dirt blocks (Galaxy S4, Lollipop 5.0.1). Related, you can try to plant Crimson Seeds on grass, and the seeds will be used, but no Crimson is planted.
    • Fix for Ultrabright Torches from the Traveling Merchant don’t produce light when held, and when you break them, the item doesn’t drop
    • Fix for Rain becomes fast when using touchscreen on point placing.
    • Fix for Beetle armor is not giving the proper set bonus
    • Fix for Swapping between items will send out multiple flails or harpoons
    • Fix for Chinese lantern can not be bought from merchant
    • Fix for Old credits are displaying
    • Semi Fix for Timers are not working (they are working fine but they lack feedback so we made the texture brighter and removed the highlighting)
    • Fix ocean biome detection
    • Fix non-ocean fish catches in ocean
    • Fix fishing in lava or honey
    • Handle situations where DetermineFishingCatch may return null (e.g. fishing in lava)
    • Fix when fish catch is determined (now done only once whenever the bobber reels, not multiple times when the fishing rod is cast)
    • Fix when the sonar potion message appears and disappears
    • Fix bait usage; now correctly only used when reeling in, instead of when the fish catch is determined
    • Fix for Solar eclipse enemies not properly targetting enemies
    • Fix for Missing hit effect for worms
    • Fix for Vile Powder fails to turn penguin to corrupt penguin.
    • Fix for able to summon a pirate/frost invasion once
    • Fix for Players and NPC/enemies cannot move down through platform stairs
    • Fix for Rain becomes fast when player uses item of precision aim window
    • Fix for Correct flare gun tooltip info (damage, crit chance)
    • Fix for Stylist Npc inventory dialog box appears on the game menu.
    • Fix for Heart Crystals spawn in the dungeon.
    • Fix to change trap damage to enemy scaling from 1/3 to 66%
    • Fix for Ultrabright torch fails to shine when held in hand
    • Fix for 'Living Loom' fails to appear in the chest of Living wood tree.
    • Fix for Eater of Worlds boss drops
    • Fix for potion drops for Duke Fishron (lesser healing potion -> greater healing potion)

    • Fix player sprite rotation issue when using Magic Mirror on a diagonal minecart track
    • Fix issue with silt/slush blocks being consumed twice when used on extractinator
    • Fix Frankenstein, Swamp Thing enemies not appearing or not targeting the player during a Solar Eclipse
    • Fix issue with grasshoppers being unkillable (friendly flag was set but never unset)
    • Fix for made gore effect of hearts during valentine a little bit less
    • Fix issues with being able to summon multiple Wisps in a Bottle at once
    • Fix Pirate minion draw pos
    • Remove summon check on Pirate Staff that prevents summoning more than one pirate at a time
    • Fix drawing offsets for Spider minions
    • Fix for Swordfish price fix
    • Fix to Downscale UI scale of Reaver Shark to properly fit in its item slot
    • Fix to add Extendo Grip in Traveling Merchant shop, now that it is functional
    • Remove buff times listed on summon items (summons are supposed to last infinitely) and fix issue with pets automatically
    • Fix for spectre armor mask string (EN only)
    • Fix bug with Angler never being considered saved, causing issues like the Angler respawning on the beach if killed after moving in, and things like Mechanical Rod becoming unavailable
    • Fix issue report where queen bee AI in multiplayer would chase faraway players who teleported away
    • Fix issue reports of Plantera Bulbs growing when only one Mechanical Boss was defeated instead of all three
    • Fix issue where the recipe for Pressure Plate Track would not be properly discovered with any pressure plate
    • Fix being able to place Jack O' Lantern and Music Box on tables.
    • Fix issue with the game spawning heart particles for lovestruck enemies during Valentine's Day event even when the game was paused
    • Fix to implement correct robe drawing on Mannequins; slight refactoring of related code for player
    • Fix for Fish Bowl is a placeable item
    • Fix fishing power of Fiberglass Fishing Pole from 25% to 27% to match PC version
    • Fix issue allowing invalid characters in character or world names
    • Fix to sanitize input string for character creation in case invalid characters appear in the middle (can happen with foreign language/iOS builds)
    • Fix for Game crashes on creating a character in Chinese language
    • Fix for hardmode crimson enemy drop: should be Meat Grinder (crafting station), not Meat Grinder (hammer); latter's name should be Flesh Grinder
    • Fix to remove Music Box from Wizard shop (unsupported item). Fix music box lookup tables for new Music Box items to prevent issues where destroying placed Music Boxes would drop random items
    • Fix for draw held items and fishing rods at the right position when held while mounted. Don't draw hoverboard while mounted, that just looks weird and wrong
    • Fix issue of players being able to bring out multiple Anchor weapons at once (functions like boomerangs)
    • Fix issues causing slimers and slimelings to not spawn once their 'parent' npcs died
    • Update localization in EN; fix name of Flesh Grinder hammer (was Meat Grinder) and add tooltip for Naughty Present ("Summons the Frost Moon")

    The OP says in the next 24-48h....I assume that means the final buttons have been pressed and it's up to whenever Apple/GP roll it out.

    Still no fix for world edge being cut off (but still visible on the map), that happened when I updated from 1.2 to 1.2.4.

    While cross-plata forming I can't see any of the Stylist exclusive hair styles on a friend. It just shows me one of the normal ones. If he chooses the first of the exclusive ones, For me it shows up as the first of the normal ones and so on.

    From what I see, it doesn't *list* a set bonus, but the set bonus does work when you get into combat (the beetle will fly around you).

    The original bug was that it listed the wrong set bonus entirely, so at least that is fixed.

    Also add the ability to cast a fishing rod by tapping anywhere, you can only cast a fishing rod when you tap on the water..
    Also if that's not added, there is a bug where fishing rods were able to cast through blocks. That happens when a player casts a fishing rod by tapping on the water and the player is behind a wall. Example:
    space, space, space, block, player head, player head
    space, space, space, block, player body, player body
    space, space, space, block, player leg, player leg
    space, space, space, block, block,block
    space, space, space, space, space, space
