Weapons & Equip More and better sprinting boots!

The problem

Almost everyone has either terraspark or amphibian boots equipped at all times, because there aren't any good alternatives to these vital accessories. We also have some boots that don't do anything special compared to the normal Hermes boots (sailfish and flurry), and some that are just straight up near pointless to craft (fairy boots, and hellfire treads). So I think that these boring boots should get a better use, and some new boots should be added too!

Changes to Existing Boots:

Sailfish/Amphibian:
  • Now grants increased mobility in water
Would match the obtainment method of fishing, while also making them more distinct than Hermes boots. Amphibian is already arguably the best boot in game, so buffing it may seem like a odd decision, but by the time Amphibian boots are more worth it to use than Terraspark, this buff would be very niche outside of maybe duke fishron.

Flurry:
  • Now has a slightly faster top speed than Hermes boots (33, compared to Hermes boots’ 31) still a bit shorter than the lighting boots, which give 35
Flame Waker/Hellfire Treads:
  • Fire trail now lasts longer
  • Fire trail now damages enemies and inflicts On Fire!
Would be an alternative to terrasparks/amphibian that trades the increased mobility for offense, and encouraging you to get in your enemies path to make the most out of the flames

Flower Boots:
  • I don't have any good ideas on how to buff these, maybe you guys have some?
Fairy Boots:
  • Now has a flight time of 1.75 seconds (compared to terraspark’s 1.17)
There arent any boots that give upgrade rocket boots’ flight in the terraspark tree, so this would be a alternative that trades grounded mobility of lighting boots for aerial mobility.

New Boots:

Phoenix treads:

1x hellfire treads
1x fire feather

  • Fire trail now deals more damage, and inflicts Hellfire, rather On Fire!
Mainly just exists to keep the effects of the Hellfire treads relevant in hardmode

Ninja Boots:

1x Spectre Boots
10x souls of night
20x souls of fright

  • Gives a 7 tile dash, the same distance as the shield of Cthulhu
This would give classic mode players a dash accessory before the Tabi, which is post plantera. The Tabi, and master ninja gear would still be useful, since its dash is over triple the length of this one (22 tiles, compared to 7)

Pharaoh Boots:

1x Dune Rider Boots
1x Flying carpet

  • Pretty self explanatory, a combination of both of these accessories, maybe with a buff to the flying carpets speed and flight time
Flying carpets would also now be able to be caught in oasis crates, similar to the sandstorm in a bottle, so that this isn’t impossible to get if you don’t have a pyramid in your world.

Plumber Boots:

1x Hermes boots
25x pink gel

  • Allows the wearer to jump on enemies (similar to the slimey saddle)
I will admit, this is more of a novelty item that I just thought was a cool idea, and it probably doesn’t have many uses past early game.

Some of these could work

Wouldn’t it make more sense for the Flurry Boots to be an equivalent to the Dunerider Boots by having them be faster on snow and ice?

True

Idea flurry boots become the counterpart to flame waker boots having snowy wind as a trail and inflicting frostburn when enemies get in your trail
But it can also inherit the extra speed on snow ice and slush

The upgrade is
Whirlwind Treads
Chilly Wind trail now deals more damage, and inflicts Frostbite , rather than frostburn
Flurry Boots
+ Ice Feather
At a Tinkerers Workshop

Frostbite > Hellfire
Ice feather is gotten earlier

That wouldn’t work out

It works fine and you can combine them into one powerful boots later on with ectoplasm?
