I think that the endless quiver and musket pouch are cool items. However, these endless ammo items are only for the base level ammos. I think that new versions of these with different ammo types would be cool; I think it wouldn't be too OP as you would need a lot of the ammo type already. I made a drawing of ideas on how some of the quivers / musket pouches would look, a possible name for them, and showing how they would be crafted.

Honestly, it would be better if there was another material required to craft endless pouches. After all, Cursed/Ichor bullets take a little bit of grinding to craft, and would defeat the point of having to use that much effort grinding if you could just easily get an endless pouch.

I don’t see them adding these, but perhaps they could make it so if you have an endless quiver or musket pouch in your inventory you could craft the special ammo types with just the imbuing ingredients (i.e. you don’t need to buy or craft basic arrows or musket balls anymore).
I was actually thinking something similar. Having an additional item cost, perhaps a different one for each pouch could be a good way of balancing it. I think pre-hardmode ammos should be accessible when you're in hardmode, but for better ammos like cursed/ichor bullets it should cost an additional post-plantera item since after that point it's less about the ammo and more about the weapon anyways. Then for chlorophyte it would take a post-golem or even pillar-level drop to make.
I like the idea of endless musket pouches and endless quivers being crafting items as well, that would be quite handy and would also make sense.
