So Shroomite is a later-game Metal that crafts ranged armor. That’s about it. There’s a hoverboard and a digging claw. That’s it. (Yes, I know the DCU uses Shroomite too.)

Let’s start!

One could argue that Shroomite does not need ranged weapons and other stuff because of the other stuff available then.
What’s viable at post-Plantera? Let’s see...

Venus Magnum? Auto-click is bad...
Grenade Launcher? Gravity exists.
Sniper Rifle? Good, but too slow to be viable.
Rocket Launcher? It’s ok, I guess...
Tactical Shotgun? That’s actually a good weapon!
Stynger? Also pretty good, better than Grenade Launcher.
Tsunami? Have fun beating Duke Fishron to get it! Still very powerful though!

So there’s only a few viable options, and one is a bow, and taking Shroomite’s multiple head pieces to account, 1 Bow, 1 Gun and 1 Launcher. Meh.

So now it’s time to introduce more weapons to the fray and give better uses to Shroomite.

Starts slow, and speeds up
* This machine gun starts out quite slow, until you get a gun firing faster than the Megashark for mass destruction with good ammo.

* These things are nice to put on the floor as a trap. Simply right-click and KABAM! Great against lots of enemies or your friends. Can be placed on floors, walls and ceilings.

Overall it's a great concept, but the specific values could use some work. Here's the main example that stuck out to me.

These stats are way stronger than even Calamity's P90 - much higher damage, twice the crit chance, and a much higher chance to not consume ammo. It had better be pretty freaking inaccurate if it's to be even close to balanced in its current form.

Ok, so Insanely Fast could be taken as the Megashark or Calamity’s P90, which has a use time of a staggering 1. The function I was going with is more like the Megashark or Gatligator, but this has base 6 Use time over Base 7, which is a little faster. I did see the idea of a damage change reasonable, so I went and did that.
Damage: 39 —> 36
