Both items unlock the same slot no matter what.

But Heart of Nature has priority. If you use Celestial Onion while Heart of Nature wasn't used, you will not get 7th slot.
So using this mod with Calamity doesn't have much point unless you want 6th and 7th accs slots work in normal worlds.

Not sure whether it'd work with the extra accessory slot from Master Mode. Calamity's Celestial Onion doesn't; but I don't know whether that's a deliberate balance choice (devs not wanting eight accessory slots to be available) or a technical limitation (the UI not being able to handle an eighth accessory slot).

master mode adds the 6th slot by defaul and the 7th is obtained from demon heart, the mod will only work for normal and expert difficulties.

Yes, under normal circumstances. This mod enables all seven slots no matter the difficulty or game type.
