Xbox One Multiplayer issue

Whenever I tap on the multiplayer it loads for a second and says it needs to check my permissions before bringing me to a store page to get a Xbox game pass or Gold subscription, I already have Xbox live, and when I press back it says that it couldn't load my permissions. I've tried to restart my Xbox and I haven't had this issue before, can anyone help me?

Unfortunately you have to have either an Xbox Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription to play Terraria online with friends
