tModLoader Multiplayer syncing player issues

I don't know if this is a bug or if it might be related to connexion issues, but while playing with a friend via Steam the game wasn't syncing at all, for example when beating the destroyer for him the destroyer was nearly half hp but for me he was nearly dead. Also a problem with time, his clock showed him that he's late with 20 secs more or less, and he was fighting enemies i couldn't see. also after he freezes and allat happens he gets kicked and says ,,backing up player file'' and ,,timed out''

The host of the server would have to check their server log, it's either a mod causing issues, or the connection is just dropping

Post your server log, it's automatically logged after each play session

According to those logs, CalamityMod is having exceptions thrown when trying to receive information. This is really bad since if an exception is thrown before all the information is done reading, it could leave some information left over that messes up future messages. Even if tModLoader has things to prevent these kinds of issues, it would still cause syncing issues. The issue looks to have to do with "cooldowns", with the first exception occurring in "CalamityPlayer.EnergyShields()"

This might not be something you can fix, but make sure CalamityMod, along with the rest of your mods, are up to date with the current tModLoader version and that the set of mods you have enabled are compatible.

so i should stop using energy shields? cus my friend is using the robot hard drive

these are my mods + ore excavator which is 1.4.4.9

Calamity itself is causing the issue, disable it for now and report the error to Cal's devs so they can fix it.
