Earlier today I was playing Terraria, I had to go out so I closed the game as normal and then turned off my computer. When I came back later I launched it and went to play but my character had no name, his pic was a default, his health 100 and mana 20. I've looked at other threads covering this issue and followed through to "C:\Users\"My Name"\Documents\My Games\Terraria\Players" Upon getting there I found what is probably a big problem, the .plr.bak file is not there, I launched the game and made a new character to see if this was a recurring thing, bat the new character has a .plr.bak file. Can someone please give me direction on where to go from here? I have no clue what to do and don't want to lose all that progress
