PS4 My character got corrupted and I don't have him anymore

Can I have my character back? This has happened to me 2 times and I put slot of work into those characters. My username on ps4 is CHAOSRAFAEL4700. If you need my email I'll give it to you but please I need those characters back. If not we'll goodbye Terraria.

I’m sorry to tell you that there’s no way the developers can retrieve your characters back @UtimateTerrarianPS4. They do not keep player data.

Going forward I strongly suggest that you back up your character and world data onto an external usb drive. It takes just a moment every so often, and that way you are assured you’ve got a backup to recover from. Having a character file get corrupted is a bummer. Be sure that you’re giving the game plenty of time to save.
