PC My main journey world is gone and I cant restore it.

I was playing earlier this morning with no issue, then when I came back a bit later and launched the game, that world would not load in, even for the backup. I went to the actual files and tried to restore previous versions, with both the regular and backup files. No luck with that either. The character I was using for that world is completely fine though. Does anybody know what can be done to restore the world?

edit: this is what the world looks like in the menu now. It was also created on May 16, not June 17. It was a crimson world, not corruption.

The world seems to be corrupt by the looks of it.

You can try renaming the corrupt world file to something and remove the replace the .bak suffix from the backup file. Restart your game and see if that works.

The world now shows up in the menu, I just get this screen again when I try to enter.

i have the same problem did you like emty your recycle bin before entering terraria?
