My map resets

Every time I open up Terraria, my achievements and map completely resets. Even when i just open up the world, explore, leave and join again, the map turns back to black.

I Started a new world and it was fine, till Terraria gave me a notice saying that my backup failed to load, then again black map and achievements reset. Can anyone maybe help me try information about this, i tried and didn't find anything

The exact same thing happened to me. Then when changing to a new world, but with the same character, it seems to have "resolved". Prior to the error, I entered that world with another character. Will it be related?
