I think its time i helped the community by sharing some of my wisdom from playing Master Mode!
Beat expert mode first! Do that, and master mode is only slightly harder than expert.
Basics: Bring supplies!
These include:
An arena, with Campfires, heart lanterns, bast statues, ETC
A freind tosacrifice help you
(Do note this greatly increases boss health)
BUFF POTIONS!
Personal experience: me and my cousin struggled on Skeletron until we brought buffs
Then we beat him easily!
Buffs include:
Ironskin: (daybloom, lead/iron, bottled water(BW))
Endurance: i don't actually know how to craft this
My cousin usually deals with the buffs...
Endurance pt2: (BW, armored cavefish,Blinkroot)
Regeneration: (BW, daybloom, mushroom)
These are the usual buffs we use.
Food is extremely important, because it doubles your health regeneration, and gives general buffs to almost every useful stat!
Specific guide:
King slime: bring silver armor and a long range melee weapon, such as the Ice blade, enchanted sword, or Flaming mace.
Or, bring fossil armor and the Minishark
Or, bring the Diamond staff and jungle armor
Or, bring the finch staff and flinx robe with ancient shadow armor
Do not let him hit you! He does more contact damage than EoW's head!
EYE of Cthulhu!(me)
Just don't kill me.
If you really want to, though:
Bring Hermes boots for his second phase
Bring the blade of grass. Its difficult to get, and you will probably die a lot, but its always good.
Same as king slime for ranger
Or, It would be good if you can get the Flower of Fire at this point, demon scythe at best, ruby staff at worst. Vilethorn is also a good option!
Bring the finch staff, because your flinxs have trouble getting to The Eye.
Eater of worlds:
Fighting him on the surface is something i recommend, it makes it much easier to dodge/hit it.
Blade of grass still works wonders for this fight,
But watch out for vile spit!
Bring silver bullets to this fight!
Jesters arrows with the Demon bow do winders for this, just watch out for Vile spit
Use the Vilethorn, if you got it. If not, use the Diamond staff.
Finches can pierce, so they are better than the Flinx.
If you can get it, the Imp staff is best for all fights past this one.
For Queen bee, you need Movement.
Shield of Cthulhu should do fine, because it gives enough immunity frames to avoid the Dash. Just avoid hitting the Bees with it.
Molten gear is best,
Fossil armor and Minishark with Silver bullets are good.
Mage should use Meteorite for the time being, until Post-Skeletron
You don't get much as a Summoner, so great skill is required to beat her with Snapthorn, imps and a Flinx coat.
Actually, you can use Obsidian armor, but i just prefer bee.
I forgot what she does in Expert+
For Skeletron, Lightning boots and the Shield of Cthulhu are great
Minishark/Boomstick with Silver bullets are also viable
You have access to every summoner gear except the Spinal tap, so use whatever is best for you.
Use jungle armor, but Weapons are kinda limited, but the Bee gun is great! So is the Demon scythe.
Circle around to avoid the Homing skulls. They aren't that difficult

For Eye of Cthulhu you can just ride a Minecart and it'll never actually be able to reach you.

This also works for King Slime. For Eye of Cthulhu you can just ride a Minecart and it'll never actually be able to reach you.
If you have the friend join after summoning the boss, it's stats won't scale up.A freind tosacrificehelp you
Flails are really good for dealing with Vile Spit.Eater of worlds:

I'd use a Demon Bow with Jester's Arrows for this fight. Vilethorn is a bit too short range for me personally.Eater of worlds:

Why not hellfire arrows?I'd use a Demon Bow with Jester's Arrows for this fight. Vilethorn is a bit too short range for me personally.

Jester's Arrows can be ten times more effective if you line up a shot where the Eater is completely horizontal so it goes through all of the segments. Also, Hellfire arrows are really inconvenient before Nightmare Pickaxe since you can only get them from pots. Why not hellfire arrows?

Personally, I tend to accumulate a ton of above-tier equipment in Master Pre-Hardmode, so that's not really a problem for me.Jester's Arrows can be ten times more effective if you line up a shot where the Eater is completely horizontal so it goes through all of the segments. You have a valid point about the jester arrows though, but personally I find it difficult to line up shots like that because I tend to have very small arenas for EoW.

Fair enough. I also like to over-prepare in Master Mode, but for the regular guys who don't want to spend 3 hours smashing pots, Jester's Arrows are the better option.Personally, I tend to accumulate a ton of above-tier equipment in Master Pre-Hardmode, so that's not really a problem for me.

Queen Bee gets more enraged factor in Expert+, meaning her attacks are faster and her dashes can be more diagonal. For Queen bee, you need Movement.
Shield of Cthulhu should do fine, because it gives enough immunity frames to avoid the Dash. Just avoid hitting the Bees with it.

Personally, I find it useful to have very close together platforms for Queen Bee,
because you can drop down or go up through 1 platform to dodge a dash easily without messing up your aim too much.
