Basically, I was sitting in class and for some odd reason I wanted to animate someone swimming. Then I thought "WHAT IF GUMI SWAM BUTTERFLY" and then I realized that I could imagine Gumi swim any of the four strokes. Then I started thinking about what the other Vocaloids would swim, and this happened.
Also, Rin puns. XD

Basically just a practice for coloring gray skin because Dark Elves are awesome but I've never experimented with skin tones before, so I wanted to draw a sketch instead of an actual picture of a Dark Elf. It came out sketchier than I'd like though.

John Egbert (left) and Dave Strider (right) from Homestuck. My friend and I joke that she's John and I'm Dave, so for some odd reason we came up with this because of a Notice Me Senpai meme and I drew a comic of it. XD
I know most people think John is shorter than Dave, but my friend is taller than I am so we've started making Legbert jokes as well (where John is tall and skinny instead of short and skinny XD). So yeah. Enjoy Dave's OOC weirdness XD

Eeeyup. Drawn with Prismacolor pencils instead of Copics. I like how it turned out, esp. the right one's hair. His skin color's kind of odd and I screwed up the face shape again, but oh well XD

Like the drawings! Have you ever tried paint? Watercolors are such a troll to use, but they can colour in huge areas of paper/ canvas and have all kinds of faded effects too.
Shading on your stuff is pretty good too and the faces your draw are a lot better than mine - there's a reason why my avatar has no mask. Any tips for drawing faces?

Thank you! I've tried using paint, but it never ends well. *looks at Rain sketch sadly* ((I drew that in pencil and then had to make a painting of it. I thought it turned out terribly.)) I should probably start using watercolor for backgrounds, but I'm too lazy/ratchet for that.
As for faces, I don't know which art style you're referring to, but no matter what I'd recommend using guidelines and making sure the distance between the eyes (not too far apart or too close) and the spacing between nose/mouth/chin look right.
