Mythical Beasts & Where to Farm Them: Exploring Terraria's Bestiary

Yep i really hope they remove world exclusive enemy's now that they added the bestiary, also make it so the crimson or corruption pops into the world after defeating moonlord or something simpler
Same here (unless the bestiary is for per character or something), although I think something less intrusive to the world would probably be to make like an island of the opposite world evil will be created upon world creation or something, like how the Calamity mod does it.

Speed-run Bestiary-filling runs are going to be extraordinarily difficult. I'm several real-time hours into my Terraria world and still haven't found a Lost Girl. Plus, I'm still really hoping it can account for not having a blank spot regarding those world-inclusive salamander or that snail or crab thingy. They come in a category of three. Any world only spawns two of those three.
IMHO Bestiary Filling Speed Runs will have way too much RNGesus to ever be a practical Terraria Shenanigan.

Also, it's cause of stuff like this that I doubt 1.4 is gonna do away with forced need for a Character to need more then one World to get everything. I'd love for 1.4 to turn out to prove me wrong.

I can't quit thinking that it should be allowed as an option to select to have both Corruption & Crimson in the same World at the same time if the World is set to Large Size... I really think a Large World would have enough room for both without problems.

Yes sounds good. (By the way, don't forget the Corrupt/Crimson Seeds or the Clentaminator. Both, Crimson and Corruption, in one World is possible.)
Don't Evil Seeds & the Evil Solution for a Clentaminator have prerequisites for availability that can't be met without that particular evil already being present in a world, thus making for a Catch 22 Situation? :indifferent:

Not being able to 100% the Bestiary progress bar would be a pretty big oversite so I'm sure they have worked something out for it. They have worked something out for the dungeon guardian so they have obviously thought about problems that could arise.
Maybe one of the New Items is a something ya Hotbar Use to 'special place' Dungeon Brick & Brick Wall so it deploys still 'NPCized' instead of the default placing of it 'Playerizing' it...?

Could be. Could be they have a mob capture item that lets you transfer monsters to different worlds or it could be that monsters tied to another world are just exempt from that worlds bestiary. We'll have to see in 3 days. :D

If the world is in Hardmode you can use the Seeds to spread the counterpart of the present World Evil (takes Time). With the Clentaminator it is always possible to convert the World if i remember it correct... not 100% sure. It is some Years ago when i made Corruptcrimson Worlds... was fun.

The world of Terraria is so chock-full of content, it can be hard to keep track of it all! Sure, the Guide has you covered for crafting recipes and the Terraria Wiki is fantastic - but don't you wish there was a way to know more about your foes in game? Where can I find the Lost Girl? How much health does a Derpling have? How many coins can I get from farming Jellyfish?
