So, what I wanna do is make the players fight a boss again to get different loot (akin to a mod I'm working on), but modifying every boss is waaaaay too much work, so I came up with a genius idea, but I have no idea how to execute it.
First things first, I temporarily (during the challenge) change the inventory of the player, where they are given a random class with a weapon/s, armor and accessories of that stage of progression. The problem is I have no idea how to access or change their equipped items. Also, so that cheesing can't be done, their old inventory "disappears" (which is given back after defeating the boss or dying). All projectiles, turrets and summons also disappear, and the player/s can't pick up items on the ground.
Is there any way someone can give me direction as to where I should start with this challenge mode?
