I've seen similar issues around the forums but none of the fixes seem to work for my issue. To begin with, I have tried Verifying Integrity of files on Steam, deleting config.json, and have even done a full re-install.
When I start up the game there is no music or sound. When going to volume settings, music and sound are both set at 0%. Moving the music bar doesn't seem to do anything, and moving the sound bar has frozen the Terraria window multiple times. I am able to interact with my computer, but the Terraria window gets stuck in the foreground and is unresponsive until I log off or shut down. I have tried opening a world, but the game stutters for a bit then becomes unresponsive (with wait/kill windows prompt appearing).
