I have an idea from my mod and decided to make it standalone...

I am making an NPC that can tell you recipes, kinda like the recipe book mod, but is less OP i guess idk.

Tell me whether this should be a thing.

You can make if you want to, if you have priorities its best that you don't need to.

If you were to make a nerd npc that were to tell you recipes, here is how I would do it
Have him require a bookshelf, and a crafting table in the house to stay at your house
And have him bring up a list of every craftable item that you can click on, and It will show you the recipe of how to make the item
