Weapons & Equip New accessory: Counter wieght

Counter Wieght (or any better name) is an accessory that gives you bonus movment speed and damage at the cost of defense points and have 2 upgrades:

-You can find it in treasure chest underground and it will give you 10% movment speed and 5% damage but reduces 10 defense points.

-The first upgrade drop from a mimic and gives you 10% damage and 15% movment speed but reduces 20 defense points.

- The second upgrade is by combining the 2 accessories before with the 3 Mechs souls and gives you 15% damage and 20% movement speed but reduces 25-30 defense points.

This accessory can give a nice buff to Summoners cuz they already have very low defense points and barley benefit from it.

For Melee cuz they might have excessive defense points and can trade some of it for damage and movement.

For Rangers and Mages that prefer evasive gameplay rather than face tanking every hit..
And its Optional you can equip or unequip any time.

Notes:
- the numbers are just theoretical and it can be rebalanced.
- the image is taken from a game called Shattered Pixel dungeon and this item called "Stone of Augmentation" wich let you choose between hit speed at the cost of damage or vice versa (if you put it on a weapon) or evasion for defense or vice versa (if you put it on armor). I just used their picture to let you imagine it a little bit, but the credit is to them (Shattered Pixel dungeon devs).

Edit: let's make it summoner acc only this way:

1 minion slots and 10% wip speed for 7 defense at start of pre hardmode.
2 minion slots and 15% (maybe 20%? Not sure how much does it affects though) for 15 defense post mechs (the crafting is the same as the 2nd upgrade before)
3 minion slots and 20-25% wip speed for 25 defense post golem (maybe combining the 2nd upgrade with stardust fragments? Idk).

Do you mean that acc for yoyos?
Just put another name (I don't have any idea what to name this acc), but it acts differently than the counterwieghts in the game.

Yeah, the one that releases a second thingy when you use one
Edit: I also think that this is just generally not at all worth it. early game, 10% move speed and damage are not worth 10 defence. In hardmode, assuming you have no defensive accessories, the hardmode version makes a summoner have -2 defence.

The state can be rebalanced, but the general idea.
(I didn't really calculate the states well, so it can be rebalanced by the tier)

Edit: maybe we can make it hardmode exclusive and make it pre mechs - post plantera , post golem though
 
The amount of defense points lost isn’t worth it for this.
 
a summoner emblem that costs you almost every single point of defense you have, while giving no whip speed, whip range, extra minion slots, or even extra sentry slots, which are the real dps boosters for summoner, while giving you a measly 20% move speed, which doesn't even mean much of anything in hardmode because it only affects grounded, horizontal acceleration, makes this an absolutely awful accessory for summoners, especially considering that post-mechs is very close to the native habitat of almost all of the summoner accessories.

the numbers themselves are pretty bad all around, taking 10 defense points off in prehardmode when the absolute toughest armor at that point gives 25 points of defense, for a 5% damage and 10% movement speed boost simply isn't worth it, that's half the general damage boost of shark tooth/stinger necklace and the very same boost that anklet of the wind gives. and something to consider is that stacking all of these together will only give you a 30% damage boost, while you lose 60 defense. or you could wear a destroyer emblem and an avenger emblem and miss out on 10% damage, but gain an additional 8% critical hit, keep an accessory slot for something else, and keep all 60 defense

a good start to making this accessory worth using is to flat out quadruple the boosts you get. trading 10 defense for 5% damage and 10% movement speed isn't worth anything; trading 10 defense for 20% damage and 40% movement speed might be worth it. trading 20 defense for a damage boost that is almost guaranteed to eclipse every other straight damage boost for the rest of the game is worth considering, and trading 30 defense for a 60% damage boost is a very notable trade-off. and that's 60 defense for a 120% damage boost if you stack them all together.

or increase the damage boost of the hardmode ones by 6x what they are now, and throw off the movement speed boost entirely, considering it's almost useless at this point; that's a 60% and 90% damage boost for 20 and 30 defense, respectively.

although none of this means anything for the summoner because as said before, minion slots are where the real damage lies in summoner, which this accessory never gives any of

this is alot better as a summoning accessory, and has alot more potential considering it boosts whip speed, which isn't directly changed by anything other then the set bonus for obsidian armor, speaking of which

trading half of the defense of obsidian armor for an extra boost to whip speed and an additional minion slot (which obsidian armor grants a staggering 1 of) is a pretty decent trade off for that stage of the game
