I'm not entirely sure how difficult it would be to add this feature, but considering the complete lack of practical usefulness that the music boxes have being placed in an accessory slot (even though this is very unlikely for someone to do), it should have its own slot in the equipment tab. If someone had wanted to listen to a specific background track in-game, they'd have to carry around the box and place it everywhere they go or waste a slot to make it more convenient. I know this is a very nitpicky and niche suggestion because music boxes barely get used in such a way, but it wouldn't hurt either.
