I have been a pretty big Terraria fan of the PS4 version. When Pipeworks finally finish the new update I was super excited only to be disappointed with all the bugs in 1.3. After a few attempts playing the game, I had to put it down and haven't been back to the game until I saw the new update on this forums. (I check the forums all the time for new updates)

I booted up Terraria, and right off the bat it seemed to be a lot smoother with loading and transitions. I loaded up an existing character, and very quickly I notice the game feeling better. There were no flashing text, building is smoother, and no frame rate issues. I was only able to play a little last night, but now I am getting pretty pumped up to play Terraria with my friends again!

Thanks Pipeworks for working so hard on this game for consoles. I know it is a pretty big job, especially when you probably have other projects to work on. Hopefully in the next update we can get some touch ups with some of the UI interface (like crafting mode being tweaked a little more, the zoom function being in the game instead of in the pause mode, and other small polish ups)

Once again Thank you Pipeworks for making a hard to play game playable for me again.

I have the fully combined cell phone with all the info it displays, but the only enemies that appear on the map are bosses. They have their own icons. Before you could open the main map and see the moving red dots that were regular enemies moving around. We don't have that anymore. I believe that's the feature being referred to.

This may seem surprising, but I haven't encountered any bugs. The only problem I've encountered is having the edges of the screen not be visible, which was a problem with my TV. Still glad we're getting this all fixed.

i still would like the tv screen fixed everything else is great!

Can u plzz fix the bubble block bug cuz on pc u can go through the blocks however a liquid will stay. So this made it easier for the pc players to build arenas. But on ps4 u cant go through the blocks at all.

I made an account just so i could say its about time we had these bug fixes. I've been avoiding the game since i discovered first hand how playing multiplayer on a new world with a friend replaced my world that had hundreds of hours put into it. Thankfully i had a PS4 cloud save to load a backup but it is honestly disgusting that you got away with a bug like that without more backlash. I hope you are close to getting a stable version working on PS4 without crashes but i'm not holding my breath. Also as a fair warning to others, i would backup your worlds/characters often because who knows what the next game-breaking bug will be.

I just want to say amazing to hear the news but I'm just wondering is all the patches that have been given to Play station gonna be the same for xbox or are they different.

The latest PS4 patch is now available to download. Keep in mind that it can take a little bit of time before it propagates on your console. We'll have additional information on the Xbox One patch as soon as we receive it from the Xbox certification team.

Did you read the patch notes?
Nice one ClearConscious I would give you a high five or something but your kinda far away but still nice one
[doublepost=1521841667,1521841211][/doublepost]ClearConscious I was wondering about a few bugs I read the post so I was wondering when you guys are gonna get on things like
* When opening anything it keeps opening over and over again
* When looking at anything the text is super small and can sometimes not be read
* Also when looking at things the transparency of the menu makes it hard to read things because of the fact that background things like blocks are getting in the way so you could possibly make letters bolder so there easier to read
* This is the big one the game not showing fully on the tv like the edes being cut off.
Mostly that's it so if I have anymore problems I'll be sure to ask but I would appreciate if you could help me with whatever information you have thank you in advance.

So, will we get our worlds back or not? since they have been replaced?
I'm sorry to say but the question was previously answered there is no way for them to get it back I'm very sorry for the lose of your world's I feel your pain

I wasn't aware of an item that can do that. Which item are you talking about?
The Radar.

I don't use the mini map. I'm talking about the map its self.
Ah, that feature is gone and probably isn't coming back. Best to get used to the minimap.

I have the fully combined cell phone with all the info it displays, but the only enemies that appear on the map are bosses. They have their own icons. Before you could open the main map and see the moving red dots that were regular enemies moving around. We don't have that anymore. I believe that's the feature being referred to.
Looks like it. That feature is definitely gone, probably forever.

Incredbily disappointed that the UI transparency isn't fixed - but thanks to Loki for giving more detail and letting us know that a fix was attempted, it just broke other stuff. That kind of thing happens and I know it's frustratig for the people working on it.

Still curious to know if the issue with tvs that uses overscan is on the list of things to be addressed in the next patch.
