Chlorophyte Ore. The Gift that keeps on giving!
Now imagine if it was the bane of your existence...?
I had an Idea for a Spoof / Comedy Secret Seed where most of the World is turned to Mud instead of Dirt and Sand or even Snow. The Mud is everywhere and exists within Evil Biomes as well, choking them and then spreading into them like a disease. A Green Disease!
I Call It the Green Menace Seed!
How it all works...
1. Where Chlorophyte is now everywhere in single blocks and Spreads 4X Times as Fast AND has no more spawn limits, slowly consuming all mud and turning it into potentially unbreakable Chlorophyte everywhere you go! And just to top it off, it grows in Pre - Hardmode, causing it to grow as soon as you start and begin to ravage the world!
2. Besides the dangerous Chlorophyte making it nearly impossible to dig around and find stone and other ores you will have to start preparing tunnels to The Underworld Asap before it almost seals itself over.
3. There is Caves and stuff like Normal but expect to fight against the pesky Chlorophyte as it grows in your way.
4. Some Bosses may be hard to fight since you won't be able to mine as many blocks as the green menace encases the world around you.
World Changes...
Large Trees are much more common and always contain a Treasure Room with Living Wood Looms and chests with much more loot. Some Better Loot is Included due t9o the difficulty of obtaining it such as Flinx Fur Coats, The Occasional Statue, Rarely a Flinx Staff, Aaaaaand so on. Just basic equipment that might take awhile to craft due to the rare materials that might be locked away forever!
All Chests contain much more Metal of any Basic Non Hardmode kind, allowing you to advance your armour and pickaxes and such more easily if the Chlorophyte begins to obstruct your mining efforts early on.
Mineshafts are more common and run the lengths of the world, helping you get around if the world seals itself over. If you can reach them in time before the green menace blocks your pathways to them!
Corruption, Crimson and Hallow will contain Mud and a few single pieces of Chlorophyte that will spread and corrupt the corrupter biomes! ( The entrances to the Boss Fights will still be made out of Crimstone and Ebonstone but it will become Difficult to reach Altars as they may be overrun in the world by the green menace.
Due to Hardmode Problems with the ore spawns... All Basic Hardmode Ores ( The Others Before Chlorophyte ) will spawn from Normal Mimics. Normal Mimics Spawn in any biome and their frequency is greatly increased and Normal Mimics Deal Half Damage and have Half HP so you will have options to find you Ore even if the underground gets covered over with the green menace.
Just expect your literal golden geese to bite at you when you try to grab the golden egg!
Floating Islands are not affected and have a Pure Water Fountain on all of them. Allowing you to venture up high to run away from the pesky Chlorophyte. Just watch out for Harpies.
Sky Lakes will always contain a Water Chest as they can be hard to come by underground now. With Extra Loot to top it off.
Finally...
Chlorophyte Ore and Bars and all Chlorophyte Equipment sells for NOTHING! Heheheh! It is that pesky you get to obtain as much as you could dream and then get nothing of any value out of it except easy access to Chlorophyte Equipment. Heheheh!
Balance Changes...
Health Regeneration is +1 when in this world. Allowing you to constantly regenerate HP as making boss arenas can be almost impossible until late game with a Drax and such.
Yelets can be found in Pre - Hardmode and Deals 22 Damage Instead as a substitute for the Hive Five which may be unable to be crafted due to Bee Hives being covered over.
Pygmy Necklace can be brought from the Witch Doctor for 75 Silver as finding Lava for Obsidian can be a nightmare for the Obsidian Outlaw Armour.
And probably a few other QOL adjustments to make it a tad easier.
