They do seem small, to me (assuming the units are inches).
Perhaps @Loki can double-check with them at the start of the work week

edit: I initially thought the chest sizes were the measurement around the chest, but it's not
It's the width across the chest as the shirt lays on a flat surface, and the length is from the (back of the) collar to the hem
I measured a newish shirt I had and it checks out with this chart, so the sizes are for U.S. adults (inches)
