Game Mechanics New Wizard NPC's dialogue option, Luck related

Add new dialogue "Fate" to the Wizard NPC

This dialogue option will change according to your Luck Stat

The dialogue can vary from Bad Luck to Good Luck

If you have Bad Luck, he'll tell to you
"Let me see... ¡By my own beard! *Player's name*, a terrible fate is upon you!"

With Neutral Luck
"Let me see... Hmm, I can't even see you, don't worry, probably you are not relevant for the great scheme of things"

With Good Luck
"Let me see... I can see... Glory! Fortune! *Player's name*, a great destiny is waiting for you!"

So we’re putting the dialogue to a menu slot? I’m not sure… things like Guide tips are crucial, but luck is really confusing for new players. Experienced ones know to spam the Wizard.

experienced players already know how much luck each thing grants, and just do the sum on their own instead of wasting time with the Wizard

Random Dialogue as a way to tell your luck sucks and it's better for everything to have an option instead

Things like how much you touch ladybugs can be confusing, and new players would be like “wth is this fate thing.”

Unneeded, the wizard already has dialogue about luck.

Full support. It should also cost some coin, too. 1 Gold to know your Luck, for example.

Why should it cost money? What's the point of that?

I agree, it shouldn't be a paid service. I like the hidden good luck messages better, it makes them special.

The main idea of this dialogue option is just for fun, luck isn't relevant in the game as the Dryad's dialogue option about world's pureness, but like the normal dialogue option of all NPCs

I think this is a step in the right direction, but there's a cliff in the way and both our legs are broken, so a lot needs to change in order to actually reach the intended destination. Currently, the only things in the game that tell the player that Luck is even a mechanic they can change are Luck Potions and Galaxy Pearls; the tooltip for Garden Gnomes can and likely will be mistaken for flavor text (as will the Wizard's dialogue about all this to begin with); luck boosts and penalties from Biome Torches, Coin Shimmering, Lucky Coin, Lucky Horseshoe, Lantern Nights, killing townspeople, and interacting with Ladybugs are all completely hidden from the player, and that will lead to a lot of confusion when trying to use this service to actually figure out your luck.

I think that if there is going to be a proper counter for luck, all sources of luck, both positive and negative, should be properly conveyed to the player, whether that be through buffs, debuffs, explicit tooltips, or detailed dialogue. Having a prominent counter for luck while barely telling the player that the mechanic even exists is extremely strange, and could lead to frustration trying to figure out why the player's luck keeps changing so arbitrarily, even if I do agree that there should be a counter for it.
