So, I found that if you have a 1 wide platform next to blocks, you can glitch through with a work bench.

You have to hold [W] and jump to get up.

This could be a great way to keep out the mobs.

Ive seen this happen to me when working with NPC cells. You don’t need a workbench; just the platform-block-platform thing

That's pretty cool! I didn't know that.

Also, a bunch of tips:
Terraria has a zooming feature, which you could use to improve the video's quality. Also, instead of using Bandicam, I would recommend using a proper (but free) screen recording tool such as OBS or ShareX.

It's not pretty but you can use a platform with the glitch to get out instead of the exposed hole.
