PC No Suitable Graphics Card Found Error Preventing Terraria Startup

pedro9006

Terrarian
When trying to play Terraria the game doesn't open, with an error message coming up instead. The error reads as follows:

No suitable graphics card found.
Could not find a Direct3D device that supports the XNA Framework Reach profile.
Verify that a suitable graphics device is installed.
Make sure the desktop is not locked, and that no other application is running in full screen mode.
Avoid running under Remote Desktop or as a Windows service.

Check the display properties to make sure hardware acceleration is set to Full.

I've tried reinstalling the game to no avail, as well as deleting the config.json file file i've seen in multiple other reports of this bug. If anyone can help me figure this out, it'd be much appreciated.
I'm providing my computer's specs (both the system summary and the display), a picture of the error message, and the log for Terraria. If anyone needs more information to help assist me in this,
feel free to reach out so i can provide it.

It seems that your laptop (according to the system info screenshots) has a dedicated graphics card but you are currently using the cpu integrated graphics, which are usually intended as a fallback. You should be able to switch to the dedicated graphics card (a gtx 1050) in the bios or windows graphics settings, and potentially also install newer drivers for it.
