Weapons & Equip No true lightning themed weapons in the game

Have just been thinking. Why don't we have lightning themed weapons in the game? For example for mages, and maybe ranged. Only lightning wep i can think of is the sentry from OOA.on the other hand ice(frostfire,frostbite), fire(normal,cursed,shadowflame) weapons we have a plenty already.

Could have a mage chain lightning that has jumps to 3-4 enemies so its not busted.

Or ranger shooting randomly spread lightning in wider area that inflicts shock and shoots slow.

There is the Magnet Sphere and Nimbus Rod which are marginally related to electricity, but yeah besides three things already mentioned there aren’t really any lightning themed weapons.

Yeh thats why i stated no "true lightning". With own debuffs and all. Nimbus rod is just rain.

There’s also the Electrosphere Launcher and Sky Dragon’s Fury, which both shoot Electrosphere projectiles. But yeah, I agree more electricity themed weapons with arcing attacks would be really cool.

now that they are adding lighting to the game this would fit right in with the update, a spell tome could summon a lighting bolt to the cursor

How about a "Stormy Cloud" magic weapon that sends out a bolt of arcing lightning that chains between multiple targets. Very slow use time, and requires a lot of mana. Late prehardmode?

Edit: I suppose a tome could work too
