is there anyway to stop Terraria from crashing by the ocean?

did they ever fix this bug
It was thought to be fixed, but ended up it’s still present.
DR Studios have taken over the console development and are working on bringing the 1.4 update to the PS4 and XBox One version, then to the Switch version. So hopefully this bug won’t be present when that releases.

Zoom out doesnt work I still crash Ive redownloaded to and nothing sadly. Just gotta wait for the fix I guess im playing on switch btw
The update for Terraria on Switch will be Jan 4, so hopefully this crash won’t be present after the update.
