The Oracle mod is a mod focused on adding content to the game (not altering any vanilla assets)

I actually started this mod a long time ago, but never got very far in the production. I decided to reboot it in a way, now with more junk and slightly better sprites!

Current Assets:
87 items
10 tiles
4 enemy NPCs
2.5 new ore tiers


There aren't really too many plans for this mod, most of it is improvised and comes by when I'm drawing random stuff. I do have a couple of things planned though!

The mod is now up for download via Mod Browser!
This build (Oracle v0.1.6) is entirely for feedback purposes and I would recommend the cheat sheet mod if you're looking to test most of the items, as they are currently unobtainable.

(Ranger Class: Pre-Hardmode)
Story:
Named "Barkite" after the texture of the raw ore, which is similar to tree bark.
A very light-weight ore, giving decent mobility.

(Multi-Class: Pre-Hardmode)
Story:
A soft and gummy bar made from condensed slime. Provides great protection, despite being made from slime.

(Melee Class: Hardmode)
An old metal used centuries ago by the old knights of Aremora. Despite being extremely durable and protective, this is one of the lowest
classes of metal alloy used by the old civilization.

I would also like to mention that I'm looking for people to help code this mod, preferably with some experience as this will be a serious mod eventually.
I'm not so good at coding myself, but I can still provide sprites.

Oracle v0.1 is now up for download on the Mod Browser!
Just keep in mind that this build is entirely for feedback from players, most of the items are unobtainable or unrefined.
 
Oracle v0.1.5 update is now up for download on the Mod Browser!
Most of the content is still unobtainable, but multiple new things were added including 2 enemy NPCs and over 10 items!
A lot of the sprites were refined and redrawn as well
 
The Oracle 0.1.6 update has been released and is now up for download on the Mod Browser!

This update focused on making some of the items obtainable, to work towards a playable mod.
A ton of new items were added as well, and a lot of sprites were fixed.

I'm having a lot of fun with this mod, and I hope to hear some feedback soon! :pinky:

You should change the crafting place for the "Galaxy Scar" and "Overflash", I think should be crafted at the Ancient Manipulator,
you should also add more mobs.

I gotta give credit on the sprites, I like them!

I agree, but I can't seem to find the TileID for the Ancient Manipulator.

Expect to see an update coming sometime soon, working on a ton of re-sprites to make it look a lot more polished.
Hopefully It'll be out in a week or two.
 
I actually meant to get an update out by Thanksgiving, but I'm kinda late lol.
I honestly lost interest in modding for a while because I couldn't get the help I needed with coding, but I think I'll probably start it up again, just a little slower than before.
So yeah maybe an update kinda soon? (For real this time)

Unfortunately the Oracle Mod is going to be put on hold for a while, it's a little much to try and learn coding with everything else I've been doing recently.
The mod might be brought back in the future, but there won't be any major updates for a long time, I'm really sorry.
