NPCs & Enemies Orca Rework

As we know, the developers decided to bring the orca back into the game.
That’s great, but I’m concerned about the orca mechanics. If they work the same way as sharks, it will be boring. Moreover, orcas attack sharks, not humans.

This idea also has a real basis in orca behavior. Orcas ram sharks, breaking their ribs and damaging their gills. Then they wait for the shark to suffocate.

What do I propose?
I suggest making the orca’s AI neutral toward the player until the player:

1.) Hits the orca,
2.) Comes too close,
3.) Or fires a projectile that passes near the orca.

Then a unique attack mechanic is triggered: the orca quickly swims away from the player, turns around, accelerates, and rams them.
The ram deals double damage and reduces the player’s oxygen by 1 to 5 units, depending on what percentage of the orca’s base damage was dealt to the player.

Yes, orcas are masters of ramming. Here’s a video on YouTube:

If after ramming, the orca swam right above the player for a few seconds, preventing them from surfacing, it would be simply amazing.
Then anyone who shows disrespect to this predator would be severely punished. I would like orcas to be not just aggressive mobs, but, so to speak, neutrally vindictive.

However, this is an additional, not the main part of the idea. Just a wish.

It could also not drop anything particularly useful to encourage you not to attack it.

That being said, I don’t know if there are many neutral creatures here, and players who hurt it by accident could get screwed lol

Nevertheless, in my opinion, this is better than a shark that shows aggression by default. As for valuable loot, even before, nothing particularly valuable dropped from the orca.
