Parity at last! Terraria 1.3.5 Launches Today on Xbox One and PlayStation 4!

Wait so does that mean the online multiplayer glitch is fixed. Everytime I'd play with my cousin on Xbox, left the world, and then the next day join his world again. My map data for some reason would all be deleted and I would have to explore places I already been
no my friend has that same issue on our new world post update its kind of annoying

-if you haven't already I suggest that you send the info you have regarding the paint issues you're experiencing after the update straight to Pipeworks, the console developers, here: Terraria: Console & Mobile Bug Form Include as many details as you can as well as screenshots to explain.
is that link still the best way to let them know? the one under the main post is confusing, and id rather use this one if they no longer read forum bug report threads.

there was a problem with item frames and paint that i think i found a solution for and im not sure what's the best way to let other players know.

Hi @Hundjäger18, yes, that link is the quickest way to get a bug report to Pipeworks, the console developers, it goes straight to them. You may not receive a reply back, but they review all the reports that get sent in through that link.

You can also post about a console bug in the forum section here: Console Bug Reports Posting on the forums will allow you to alert other players about the bug, get feedback from other players on if they know of a workaround, but it is not a guaranteed way for it to be seen by the developers that are actually working on the game.

So I found a problem with the1.3.5 update and I thought that this would be one of the best spots to post about it.
I was naming chests to organize stuff and the previous chest's name was showing up on the one I clicked on. I was also using dressers and their individual names were getting replaced by the most recent name of the dresser I was in.
It's not a big problem because the chests show their real name when hovered over but it is really frustrating and I understand if you want 1.4 out instead of this bug.
And thanks for making 1.4 come out a whole lot sooner.

So does this mean that the map data glitch is fixed. If I join a multiplayer world, quit, and rejoin later. I seem to lose all my map data and have to explore what I had already explored.
I went and checked, it's not fixed on Xbox one and could you please fix it. It happens with everyone I play with and happens for them.
This has been an issue since the beginning for me and my clan. Is this an issue on the dev list? Any plans to fix it?

It's on the "quality of life" list that I would like to see explored once any 1.3.5 fixes are done.
 
Does this update finally fix the issue where player one doesn’t have sound in two player split screen? Or the grand design not working at all for player two? I was very disappointed that these issues weren’t mentioned in the release notes.

Uncovered with the help of Discord Terrarians on launch day (complete with images, video, etc) and ticketed directly to Pipeworks, whom are already working on a fix over the weekend.


Switch 1.3.5 is under testing/fixing at the moment - as we said in the March SOTG, expect this late April at the soonest, depending on internal and external review times.... but it is getting really close.
This still isn't fixed, and is also the same on Xbox One not just PS4. Do you know a timeframe for them to fix it as they haven't over the weekend?

Greetings Terrarians!

At long last, we have reached the day that once seemed impossible - Terraria on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will receive the 1.3.5 update today, bringing console Terraria up to parity with the live PC version of the game! Terraria 1.3.5 brings a handful of new furniture items, a couple of really cool developer armor sets, and the long-anticipated UI size slider. As usual, the team has tried to roll in a round of bug fixes into the update. So, without further ado, here is the Terraria 1.3.5 for Console changelog!

As for what is next? The console team is planning to look into a few quality of life features we have had in mind for a while, along with any further needed bugfixing from this or prior updates. So stay tuned for that!

Before anyone asks, no this does not mean that PC and Console can now crossplay - as most of you are aware, there are a ton of other hurdles beyond just "same content" that would need to be cleared to make that possible, to put it mildly. We never say never, but this is something we will have to revisit in a post-Journey's End era... and we cannot promise that this will ever be possible. However, it is something we will explore when the time comes.

Yep, its fixed already on the development branch - just need PW to add in other fixes, QA check it, etc.
Fair enough. The world load speeds are back to normal by the way, as is that cursor issue I made a video about, so thanks for that.

The only real issue left is the D-pad issues: there binding is still temporary, and it's started doing this thing where if you tap one of the D-pad buttons twice the selected item reverts back to the last item used. This can be very annoying if the last thing you used was the mobile phone.

I have that - and some other stuff - on my QOL list of things for them to tackle once fixes for 1.3.5 are done. Will see how that goes.
