This suggestion is mostly me just goofing off, but I felt that it wasn't ridiculous enough to exclude entirely, so here goes.

Party Prize Machine
Sold by the Party Girl for 50 Gold.
Can be placed.

Party Ticket
Feed it to the Party Prize Machine for a random prize.
Sold by the Party Girl for 2 Silver. Only 10 sold per day.
Dropped (5%) from any enemy killed by a Party Bullet or while under the influence of Flask of Party.

Party Balloon
Sold by the Party Girl for 10 Copper.
Can be placed. Takes a random color.

Water Balloon
Crafted with Party Balloon at a water source.
Consumable
6 ranged damage
Explodes (AoE) when it hits something, and inflicts Wet.

Squeaky Hammer
1 melee damage
Insanely fast speed
Extremely weak knockback
25% hammer power
Makes an annoying squeaky noise whenever it hits something.

Rubber Chicken
20 melee damage
Fast speed
Strong knockback

Electric Handshake
13 magic damage
Insanely fast speed
2 mana
Extremely weak knockback
Shoots an extremely short-ranged discharge of sparks.

Slingshot
18 ranged damage
Fast speed
Weak knockback
Takes Water Balloons as ammo, giving significantly higher velocity.
It can fire things other than Water Balloons, such as...

Party Rock
8 ranged damage
Crafted: 1 Confetti, 20 Stone Block (makes 10)

And can also fire Acorns. 6 ranged damage. (Thanks for the idea, Molos... Derpo... um... Mudkip!)

Fisher of Fools
Works like a fishing pole, but doesn't actually hook anything, because a dollar bill is attached at the end instead of actual bait. Enemies target the bill instead of you. NPCs follow the bill.

Maracas
Works like a Bell.

Groucho Glasses
Equipable.

Party Hat
Equipable.

Giant Afro Wig
Equipable.

Propeller Beanie
Equipable.
2 defense.
Provides Featherfall.

Horse Head Mask
Equipable.

Squirt Flower
Equipable (accessory).
When hit, releases a stream of water that inflicts Wet.

Fake Throwup
Can be placed.

Whoopee Cushion
Can be placed.
No longer dropped by worm enemies.

Water Gun
No longer sold by the Traveling Merchant.

Beach Ball
No longer found in Water Chests.

Chinese Finger Trap
When selected in the hotbar and used, you can't switch to something else for 5 seconds.
Thrown consumable. When it hits an enemy, the affected enemy cannot use attacks that do not involve contact damage. For 20 seconds.

Only affects Fighter, Caster, Bat (because of Demons), and Snowman AI.

Bubble Gum
Buffs player with Bubble for 10 seconds. Cannot be used with buff hotkey.

Bubble(buff)
Player is surrounded by a pink bubble. When an enemy touches the bubble, the bubble explodes, canceling the buff and dealing 10 damage with insane knockback.

Party Cannon
Can be placed.
70 ranged damage, uses Confetti as ammo. Range is point blank.

Alligator Chew Toy
Summons a toothless alligator pet.

Giant Hamster Ball
Mount.
Increases jump height and lateral speed. Also damages enemies when it runs into them, exactly like a Minecart.

Sparkling Beverage
Consumable ranged weapon.
Autoswings, and after a random amount of time spent shaking it as if it were a melee weapon, it launches a stream of foam towards wherever the cursor happens to be at that moment.
30 ranged damage, pierces, and scores multiple hits.

So here are the chances that each prize will be won.
Squeaky Hammer: 1%
Rubber Chicken: 1%
Electric Handshake: 1%
Slingshot: 1%
Fisher of Fools: 1%
Squirt Flower: 1%
Whoopee Cushion: 1%
Water Gun: 1%
Maracas: 1%
Groucho Glasses: 0.5%
Horse Head Mask: 0.5%
Party Hat: 0.5%
Giant Afro Wig: 0.5%
Propeller Beanie: 0.5%
Party Cannon: 0.5%
Alligator Chew Toy: 0.5%
Giant Hamster Ball: 0.5%
Chinese Finger Trap (5-12): 12%
Beach Ball: 2%
Fake Throwup: 12%
Party Balloon (5-12): 12%
Sparkling Beverage (3-10): 12%
Bubble Gum (5-12): 12%
Confetti (5-12): 30%

And one more minor fix:
Also thinking of it, it's a little weird Merchant sells disco ball instead of Party Girl.
Now what do you think?

There's a lot in this thread and I have to admit, I'd love every one of these ideas in the game. Nice one, Baconfry.

i actually like this idea, gives party girl some more usefulness rather than being like the painter... totally useless (Well, for me atleast, i don't like the building part of terraria...)

this is pretty cool, but the party tickets should be sold per player. Also the party rock should have a small chance of inflicting confusion

i have an idea:
fake coin
has the same sprite as the corresponding coin
(TRICK PLAYERS IN SERVERS!)
can be stored in coin slot. players can attempt to npcs, but there is a 99% chance the npc will catch you and lock you out for a set amount of ti

CENX SAYZ ITS GOOD
CONFORMED IN 1.3

now that i've done that i would spend all my money on this suggestion
irl and in game

All of these items are great, and I would definitely get everyone of them!
It would definitely make me use the Flask of Party and Party Bullets more, and actually talk to Party Girl in my playthroughs.
Overall this needs to be added to the game, and since Cenx likes the idea, it might!

Can this also include a Japanese school outfit and a hat to wear that is pantsu on top of your head? I know how to party hard and this is an amazing suggestion but it's still missing these elements.

>Cenx posted in the thread
It's happening

Meanwhile, since we have Flask of Party for melee players and Party Bullets for ranger players, will there be a similar item for mage players like myself? Because I don't want to start using melee/ranged just so I can get my share of wacky loot.

Well, if you want spell caster based party items, I'd have to say maybe the bubble wand can get upgraded into a party wand by using a Magic Crystal Ball, confetti and maybe one or to things else... It'd be relatively weak, but use little amount of mana to cast insane amounts of shots, kinda like crystal storm.
