I saw your quote on my reply. is it okay on a light pet slot? and also when I enable it and click save and then go back to the same tweak list later, it deletes the tweak. whats happening?

Would it be at all possible to make the window able to be maximized? Playing on a 1080p screen but being limited to the small window size feels, well, limiting. Thanks for the amazing tool, its really been a blast to mess with!

Hey @TiberiumFusion ! Hope you've been well (and hopefully not overworked).

I have some suggestions/reports:

---Reports:
The Tavernkeep, as well as all forms of "stuck" NPCs are missing from the Darwin Tool (Bound Goblin, etc). As far as I can tell, these are counted as different NPCs by the game so they'll still get slaughtered by enemies even if they were otherwise tweaked.
Item #353 (Ale) and #4022 (Golden Delight) can't be tweaked by the Omnipatcher.

---Suggestions:
Revert Meteorite pickaxe requirement/explosive immunity to pre-1.4
Override all drop rates to 100%
NPCs always have full stock available (like those that would require biomes)
All Expert/Master benefits without any difficulty changes

Other than that, just here to note that the highest legit value for Happiness seems to be 133.3333%. Just sharing for those that might want to set it to max for overriding purposes.

Could please you add a tweak to change the binding of camera mode? it would be nice to be able to use F1-4 for hotkeys
Isn't Capture mode already toggled by the icon near the accessories slots?

Another user has reported the disappearing tweak issue as well. No one has given me any more details, however, so I don't know why that is occurring. Right now, I suspect it is related to the language setting on your operating system. There are some data fields that may not be saving/loaded correctly on non-English systems. Please start a conversation with me (using the forums Conversations) feature so you can share important logging information with me.

Are you referring to TT2 or Terraria? If you mean TT2, then no, I'm afraid. Terraria Tweaker 2 may look like a it has a flexible UI, but that is not entirely true. In many aspects it does, but I do not have enough free time for this project to create a 100% flexible interface. TT2 is good old WPF with plenty quick and dirty controls. There's no Avalon or BCGControlBar here.

Override all drop rates to 100%
I've responded to this so many times that I really need a copypasta ready to go. :sigh: It's virtually impossible. The "drop" logic, if you can even call it that, is a wretched, spaghetti mess with no pattern whatsoever, scattered over quite literally a hundred different places. I'm not kidding when I say it would take more time to create a drop rate modification patch than it would take to rip the whole damn thing out and rewrite it correctly from scratch (and both would be 300+ hour jobs). So, unfortunately, this is not feasible given the free time I have for this project.

NPCs always have full stock available (like those that would require biomes)
This is in my list of ideas, but it looks like a ~20 hour job for a single patch with a pretty miniscule effect. I might get around to it one day, but its at the very bottom of the priority list.

All Expert/Master benefits without any difficulty changes
I'm not sure what you mean by that, but I have things like "allow expert mode items in regular difficulty" on my suggestions list.

Ah, my bad for not going through earlier replies. Sorry!

No biggie on this one. Just a thought I had.

I meant a tweak to make the game think your difficulty is Expert/Master for the sake of drop rates and exclusive drops, without the changes to enemy AI/stats and other effects (Feral Bite, Enemy Coin Pickups, etc) that those modes would normally bring. I suppose this would be a long, annoying tweak to create.

I have been experiencing the same thing and would love to give details to help possibly solve this.

Actually, something like that is already in the works. It will allow you to control the high-level factors (monster spawn rate, damage scale, coin drop scale, etc.) of each difficulty, so you could change all the expert/master mode factors to their regular difficulty values to achieve the effect you're looking for.

I would like to recommend a tweak that would allow you to use the digging molecart to place and dig above the surface.
On my list of suggestions now. I just read the wiki article on it (never heard of it before) and I see absolutely no reason why it should magically stop working based on player position.

As long as we're adding to the suggestions pile... in lazily-guesstimated order of most to least feasible:
  • Remove the perma-darkness from surface mushroom biomes.
  • Allow biome chests to be opened before defeating Plantera.
  • Change the odds of tree shaking producing something, and remove the daily limit.
  • Change the odds of the Traveling Merchant spawning and/or the amount of items in his shop.
  • Edit which entities get detected by the Lifeform Analyzer.
  • Remove dash and Vortex Armor double-tap controls and bind them to specific keys instead.

Hi there, I really like this patcher, but I have a few questions. Is there a tweak for infinite ammo, or a way to have persistent buffs that last infinitely when starting up any character (similarly to TerrariaPatcher)? Also, are there hotkeys for toggling invulnerability/invincibility, and a way to remove the message I've sent when entering a chat command? Thanks for any feedback in advance!

Thanks for the ideas. A couple specific notes:
Change the odds of tree shaking producing something, and remove the daily limit
Insert copypasta about drops chances... :sigh:Basically, this falls under the abomination of classic ReLogic spaghetti code that handles the various drop chances in the game, so it's pretty much off limits. Drop chance mods are probably the #1 recurring request, and I really wish I could do them, but it'd seriously be a 300+ hour job to do the whole thing and I just don't have that kind of time for this project.

Changing his chance of appearing - I like the sound of that. Changing what appears in his shop - well, the item shop chances are part of the nasty ugly "drop" logic, so they're just as wretched.

Infinite Ammo is coming in the next update, as well as persistent buffs. Those are probably the two most requested TerrariaPatcher features right now. Other users have also asked for ingame toggles for invinc/invuln, so those will probably be in the next update as well.

As for removing the chat text when using a command, well... it could be done, but would take a lot of time and achieve absolutely nothing functional. It's actually nice seeing the message repeated back because it's an immediate indicator of success/failure. If it shows up, that means nothing broke and the command worked (or rather, it didn't make something halt and catch fire).

Hello, when I apply a tweak and load a world that was already created, I get this crash. It happens at around 60% map loading. I am not understanding what I am doing wrong. This happened for multiple tweaks ( I tried around 8-10 always this screen that pops up).

Is there a way to change what NPCs (hostile and/or friendly) are immune to? I'd like to make the brain of confusion more useful, but I don't know can you do it with this.

Maybe remove the daily limit and/or the tree limit (so that every time you hit the base of a tree there's a chance of something dropping)? That would be a nice workaround without having to deal with the drop chances.

Thanks for the hard work!
